Mining Boosters

Some equipment can help you mine faster and level up. Below is the equipment to use.

Pickaxe

Always use the best pickaxe that’s available to you

Prospector outfit
This outfit is equivalent to anglers, lumberjack, and other skilling outfits in OSRS. This outfit is a reward from the motherlode mine and offers an exp 2.5% boost when you wear the full set.

You can get the prospector outfit from the motherlode mine shop in exchange for golden nuggets. You receive these nuggets passively when you mine at the motherlode mine.

The extra 2.5% mining experience is important because it will play a big role in reaching 99 mining. Note that the motherlode mine offers an excellent hourly mining experience.
The whole prospector outfit is worth 180 nuggets.

Varrock armor
You have a 10% chance of mining 2 ores compared to one when you don’t have it. You will get the experience for both ores, which makes Varrock armor an excellent wearable.
You can swap the prospector jacket for the Varrock armor when you wear the full prospector set. The Varrock armor can take over the jacket’s abilities, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of both outfits simultaneously.
Complete the Varrock achievement diaries to obtain the Varrock body armor.

Mining Gloves
Depending on the glove type, you can get mining gloves for 60, 120, and 240 unknown minerals in the mining guild.
Mining gloves might not deplete a rock when you wear them.
There are three variants of mining gloves: expert mining gloves, superior mining gloves, and regular mining gloves.

Expert mining gloves reach the amethyst ore; superior gloves go up to reunite the ore, while the regular gloves reach the gold ore.
Combining mining gloves, Varrock armor, and prospector armor provides the most efficient mining experience.

Questing

Level 1-33 mining

It can be sluggish to gain your first mining levels, and It’s therefore recommended to skip them and work on other quests instead.

Doric’s Quest (Levels 1-10)
Doric’s quest is a must for every player, and it’s quite easy because it only takes 1 minute. You only need items from the grand exchange that will give you access to level 10 mining.

Plaque City (10-18)
This quest has no requirements and is easy to complete. Plaque city is very important because you will need it for disaster subquests. Once you complete this quest, the reward experience will jump to level 18 mining.

The Digsite (Level 18-33)
Completing this quest will award you 15300 mining experience and push you to level 33 mining.
This quest requires some requirements. They include:
●10 Herblore
●10 Agility
●25 Thieving

The fastest way to achieve 99 Mining

Power mining

Power mining is the quickest way to reach 99 mining. You must shift drop every item you mine when your inventory is full instead of going to the bank.

Levels 1-15 (Tin and Copper ore)

There are many tin and copper, and mining spots around the OSRS. You are free to mine copper and ore if you don’t want to complete the mining quests above. However, the best mining spot is the Varrock mine, which takes 15 minutes and has an Exp rate of 10k/hr.

Levels 15 – 75 (Iron Ore)

You can unlock iron ores once you reach level 15. Power mine iron ores until you reach level 75 for the fastest experience. The most efficient setup is the 3 rock location for maximum experience.
You will start instamining once you reach level 60, which boosts your experience.

Locations to mine iron ore

Mining guild, Alkharid, Wilderness Resource, Tahaearn mine, Fossil Island, Piscatoris, and Legends mine.
The best location for ore mining is the Mining guild because of the +7 level boost.

Level 75-99 (3-Tick Granite Quarry)

This quarry offers the fastest way for train mining in OSRS. However, you should be careful because it’s very click-intensive, and most people don’t succeed. Go for the motherlode if you are lazy and prefer AFK.

You require waterskins for this location because it’s situated in the desert. An amulet 4 will also do the trick.

Granite Quarry Location

You can access the Granite quarry in the Kharidian desert, south of the bandit desert and east of Nardah. Use the magic carpet to reach the bandit camp quickly and walk south.

Motherlode mine (30-70/99 mining)

You can access the motherlode mine from level 30. It requires a lot of AFK mining and is the only way of getting the prospector.
You can utilize the Motherlode mine to AFK your way to 99 mining.

How does the motherlode mine work?

There are two parts in the motherlode mine, the downstairs and the upstairs. You need level 72 mining to access the upstairs, which costs 100 golden nuggets. You can mine ore from the wall veins and receive a paydirt that rewards you with 60 experiences each. Go to the cleaning area when the inventory is full and place the paydirt into a hopper.

You will get the clean paydirt in the sack at the end of the circuit.

Alternative training

Level 61 (Gemstones)

Players can access the Shilo Village after completing the Hard Karamja diary. Gem rocks have good hourly profit rates and experience.

Levels 70-99 (Volcanic mine)

The mine can be accessed by players who have completed the Bone Voyage and a minimum of Level 50 mining. A crystal pickaxe is very good here.

Level 75-99 (Blast Mine)

You can obtain the runite ore from the blast mine once you reach level 75. You will be blasting rocks to get the ore and must speak to the operator to retrieve it. It offers an excellent way of getting hourly experience and money.

Mining Guild

The mining guild is accessible to P2P and F2P players with level 60 mining. It offers the same level boost as other skiing guilds. This guild has many rocks, including coal, iron, adamantite, mithril, Amethyst, and Runite.

Servant

In this game, you can hire a servant who will bring items back from the bank so that you can stay in your house or building mode. You need to have 2 rooms in your house, one for you and one for your servant. Servants only accept money directly from your inventory or out of the servant’s money bag, which can be built at level 58. There are several types of servants, and all the pre-level 40 servants are not much help to you. Apart from that, you can hire:

• Butler – Get him at level 40, will bring 20 items back in 8 trips for 5000 GP
• Demon butler – Get him at level 50, will bring 26 items back in 8 trips for 10000 GP

Quests

You have a total of 8 quests that you can get XP. You will get a total of 33750 XP. The lists are as follows

• The eyes of Glouphrie – 250 XP
• Tower of life – 1000 XP
• Cold war – 1500 XP
• The darkness of hallowvale – 2000 XP
• The great brain robbery – 2000 XP
• Making friends with my arm – 2000 XP
• The Fremmenik Isles – 5000 XP
• The song of the elves – 20000 XP

Construction information and location

For construction, you need to have a house, and there are 2 methods. You need a parlor, kitchen, and dining room for the first method. For the second method, you must have a parlor, kitchen, dining room, and dungeon. Your default house will be at Remmington, but you can also get them in Taverley, Hosidious, Relika, and Priffidinas.

Cheap method

Level 1 to 19

At this level, you will need a parlor. You will construct a crude wooden chair; the items needed are a hammer, nails, planks, saw, and iron. You will need 400 nails and 138 planks. You can make 69 chairs and get 3973 XP. Time spent is 30 to 45 minutes, and the cost will be 50 to 60k.

Level 19 to 33

At this level, you will need a parlor. You will construct an oak chair; the items needed are a hammer, oak, planks, and a saw. You will need 238 planks. You can make 119 chairs and get 14245 XP. Time is 1 to 1.5 hours, and the cost will be 95 to 105k.

Level 33 to 74

At this level, you will need a kitchen. You will construct an oak larder; the items needed are a hammer, oak, planks, and a saw. You will need 17968 planks. You can make 2246 larders and get 1078031 XP. Time spent is 5 to 7 hours, and the cost will be 7.4 to 7.6 million.

Level 74 to 99

At this level, you will need a dungeon. You will construct oak dungeon doors; the items needed are a hammer, oak, planks, and a saw. You will need 198970 planks. You can make 19897 larders and get 11938153 XP. Time spent is 26 to 40 hours, and the cost will be 80 to 85.5 million.

Expensive method

Level 1 to 19

At this level, you will need a parlor. You will construct a crude wooden chair; the items needed are a hammer, nails, planks, saw, and iron. You will need 400 nails and 138 planks. You can make 69 chairs and get 3973 XP. Time spent is 30 to 45 minutes, and the cost will be 50 to 60k.

Level 19 to 33

At this level, you will need a parlor. You will construct an oak chair; the items needed are a hammer, oak, planks, and a saw. You will need 238 planks. You can make 119 chairs and get 14245 XP. Time is 1 to 1.5 hours, and the cost will be 95 to 105k.

Level 33 to 52

At this level, you will need a kitchen. You will construct an oak larder; the items needed are a hammer, oak, planks, and a saw. You will need 1760 planks. You can make 220 larders and get 105386 XP. Time spent is 1 to 2 hours, and the cost will be 730 to 770k 

Level 52 to 99

At this level, you will need a dining room. You will construct a mahogany table and the items needed are a hammer, saw, and mahogany planks. You will need 92214 planks and make 15369 tables for a total XP of 12910771. Time spent is 18 to 22 hours and will cost 201 to 205 million.

Other methods

You can also build a mystical cape rack to 99, but you must have dragon slayer 2 done. You also can build teak garden benches which are pretty quick and cheap.

Method 2

Level 53 to 82 (mahogany table and minimum mouse use)

In this guide, we will be making mahogany tables from levels 53 to 82 in a fast way and with minimum mouse movement. You will need a dining room, and you can use your keyboard to click on the dialogue option and not use the mouse.

You right-click build, press number 6 for the mahogany table, right-click to remove, and press 1 to confirm. You can use the Runescape tracker to track your total XP and timer to check how much time you have spent. Talk to the butler and send him away when you have enough plank to build two more tables, and don’t wait until the last minute. You will make around 620K in just 1 hour spent. To get to 90, you need to build an ornate rejuvenation pool that will give you about 2.1 million XP using 16k planks.

Method 3

Level 66 (teak garden benches)

In this method, you will be making teak garden benches. It will start at level 66 construction For this. You need your demon butler who can bring 24 teak plank per 8 trips. You just need to press right and left and then 1. Sometimes you will need to build the fence space, so it will take some work. In total, you will get 330k XP per hour in this semi-AFK method

Method 1

Quest

There are about 18 quests that you can do for your agility skill. From these quests, you will get a total of 151962 XP. 

Rooftop agility, Marks of Grace and Graceful Outfit

We will cover only the rooftop agility because that is the one used for the most AFK method. These rooftop courses will get you the mark of grace, allowing you to purchase the full graceful set. This set will give the effect of reducing your weight by 25 kilograms. This will be very helpful since you will be running a lot around the game for this skill. This set effect will deplete your energy much slower. Each item of the set will give you a weight reduction for a total of 25kg.

• Hood -3 kg
• Top -5 kg
• Legs -6 kg
• Gloves -3 kg
• Boots -4 kg
• Cape -4 kg

Level 1 – 32

There are 2 quests that you can do here. The first one is the tourist trap lamp that will give you 2 XP lamps with 4650 XP each for a total of 9300 XP. The next quest is the grand tree. This will give you 7900 XP and access to the gnome stronghold. You will get to level 32 by completing these 2 quests.

Level 32 – 40

Now head over to Varrock square center and run a bit to the southeast, and you will find the Varrock agility course. At level 32, you can get a maximum of 13k XP per hour and spend about 1.5 to 2 hours here.

Level 40 to 60

Now head over to the Cannafis rooftop but remember to finish the priest’s peril quest to access this area. You can get a maximum of 19500 XP per hour if you do not fall. But if you did fall, you can expect around 12 to 16 XP per hour. This is also the best rooftop agility course for the mark of grace.

You will see one mark of grace every 3.3 laps, and you don’t need to move your camera a lot. To get to level 60, you will need 236518 XP, equivalent to 986 laps. You will spend about 14 to 19 hours here but get between 295 to 300 marks of grace here. The full graceful set only needs 260 marks of grace, so by the time you reach level 60. You will have your graceful set. 

Level 60 to 90

Now head over to Seer’s village for the next rooftop course. You can do some diaries and unlock some perks here as well. You want to d up to the hard Kandarin diary. With the diaries, you can get 5% more marks of grace with easy done, 10% more with medium done, and 15% more with the hard done. You can also switch your Camelot teleport to the start of the Seer’s village agility course, saving time.

If you did not do the diaries, you would get a maximum of 45500 XP per hour, but with the diaries done, you can get a maximum of 56000 XP per hour. You can stay at Seer’s village until level 90, or you can do until level 86 and use a summer pie to boost to level 91. To get to level 90, you will need 3324050 XP, equivalent to 5832 laps. Without the diary, you will spend about 79 to 87 hours; with the diaries, you will spend about 61 to 66 hours.

Level 90 to 99

Now head over to the Ardougne course, and here you can get a maximum of 62300 XP per hour. Until you hit level 96, you will fail several times in this course. Assuming you start at level 86 and have the reserve prayers you can buy in grand exchange for 45 to 50k, you must be boosted at the second and fourth jump gap obstacles. If not, you will keep failing each time you go around there.

Having the elite diaries done will give you 25% more marks of grace. To get to level 99 you will need 9436369 XP in total, equivalent to 11900 laps. You will spend about 157 to 168 hours. If you do this from level 90 to 99 you will have a 25% chance of getting the agility skilling pet.

Method 2

Route 1

This method is done in the wilderness in Edgeville dungeon.

Once here, you need to go to the area where you can find the spiders and earth warriors. Here you need to swing from one side to another and back on the monkey bars. For each round back and forth, you will receive 20 XP. You will need 15 agility to ensure the NPC attack options are hidden. 

Route 2 

This method is done in the barbarian agility course; you will need 35 agility.

Once you reach this place, just run into the agility course and find an obstacle pipe. You need to squeeze back and forth inside the pipe to get 10 XP each time. This course is pretty good because it is not in the wilderness where there is the danger of aggressive mobs. You can just click on the same spot, just like the monkey bars.

Route 3

You can earn around 35 to 40k XP here, which is the wintertodt minigame.

You will need some warm clothes and some food. You can take some brews because you get damage every few minutes. Enter the doors of Dinh and run to the end of the place. You will find some gaps there that you need to jump. Each time you jump back and forth, you will get 18 XP.

Method 3

The final method involved Agility in Brimhaven.

Traditional method

• Needs a mouse pointer in a specific spot on the screen
• Requires you to click at a fast pace for it to work
• Sometimes requires a reset if the obstacles are failed

New method

• The mouse pointer can be placed anywhere in the general area
• You can click at any pace, and it won’t fail if you slow down
• Doesn’t require a reset if the obstacle is failed
• Loyal doesn’t cheat and makes you breakfast in the bed 🙂

How to set it up using Runelite

• Enable max to render setting under GPU setting
• Expand outer zoom limit to 400 under camera setting

How to use it

• Stand in the square directly next to the obstacle
• Zoom out the camera appropriately
• Spam click on any surface that is outside of the reachable walking distance
• Recommended Kramja gloves 2,3 or 4 for an extra 10% XP and tales one tick less to complete the obstacle

Quest and Requirement

• Druidic ritual – 775 XP (no requirement)
• Requirement drive – 1000 XP (requires 12 quest points)
• The dig site – 2000 XP (requires 10 herblore, 10 agility, 25 thieving)
• Shade’s of Mort’ton – 2000 XP (requires 15 herblore, 20 craftings, 5 firemaking)
• Zogre flesh-eaters – 2000 XP (requires 8 herblore, 4 smithing, 30 ranged, 30 fletchings)

Once you finish all of these quests, you will get 8025 herblore experience to put you up at level 25.

Amulet of chemistry

This comprises a ball of wool, a silver amulet, and cut jade. Once enchanted, it will hold five charges, and there is a five percent chance you will create a four-dose potion instead of a three-dose potion. After the charges are used, they will crumble to dust, and a new one will be needed.

Fastest method

First, you need to buy unfinished potions to start.

• Levels 3 to 12 – you can make attack potions, and this will give you 60k XP per hour
• Level 12 to 26 – You can make strength potions, and this will give you 125k XP per hour.
• Level 26 to 38 – You can make energy potions, giving you 168k XP per hour.
• Level 38 to 45 – You can make prayer potions, and this will give you 218k XP per hour (use an amulet of chemistry)
• Level 45 to 55 – You can make super attack potions, and this will give you 250k XP per hour.
• Level 55 to 66 – You can make super strength potions, and this will give you 312k XP per hour (use an amulet of chemistry)
• Level 66 to 81 – You can make super defense potions, and this will give you 375k XP per hour (use an amulet of chemistry)
• Level 81 to 99 – You can make saradomin brews, and this will give you 450k XP per hour (use an amulet of chemistry)

This method will take up to 30 to 35 hours to reach 99 and will cost about 150 to 160 million GP.

Cheapest Method Route 2

Make prayer potions from level 38 to 99. You will get 218k XP per hour, and the cost per XP is 5.9 GP. You will lose about 15 to 20 million GP and take about 65 to 70 hours to reach level 99.

AFK method

• Level 77 to 84 – Make stamina potions and get 280k XP per hour
• Level 84 to 98 – Make extended anti-fire and get 300k XP per hour
• Level 98 to 99 – Make superintended anti-fire and get 440k XP per hour

Total time spent is 35 to 40 hours, and the total cost is about 130 to 135 million.

Torstol cleaning

Level 75 to 99, you can do torstol cleaning and need 788268 of them. You will get 45k to 150k XP per hour. Total time is 80 hours+, and total profit is 50 to 60 million.

Herblore Route 3

Quest

There are a total of 12 quest that gives a reward for herblore. This 12 quest will give you a total of 58850 XP

Level 1 to 3 

You need to complete the druidic ritual quest. Once done, you will be rewarded with 4 quest points, 250 herblore XP, and access to herblore skill.

Level 3 to 10

You need to complete the recruitment drive quest. Once done, you will be rewarded with 1 quest point. 1000 herblore, agility and prayer XP, Gace of saradomin and Tempel knight’s initiate helm

Level 10 to 19

You need to complete the dig site quest. Once done, you will be rewarded with 2 quest points, 15300 mining XP, 2000 herblore XP, and 2 gold bars.

(You will need to have an amulet of chemistry and unfinished potions)

Level 19 to 26 (method 1)

Make strength potions. You need tarromin potion and limpwurt root. You need 96 of them, and you will get 50 XP per item for a total of 4767. Experience per hour is 105 to 110k. The cost is 94 to 97k, and you will lose 75k with 15 GP lost per XP

Level 19 to 26 (method 2)

Make serum 207. You need tarromin potion and ashes. You need 96 of them, and you will get 50 XP per item for a total of 4767. Experience per hour is 105 to 110k. The cost is 28 to 29k, and you will lose 27 to 28k with 6 GP lost per XP

Level 26 to 38

Make energy potions. You need a harralander potion and chocolate dust. You need 322 of them, and you will get 67.5 XP per item with a total of 21668 XP. Experience per hour is 141 to 148k. The cost is 255 to 260k, and you will lose 165 to 170k with 7 GP lost per XP

Level 38 to 45

Make prayer potions. You need a ranarr potion and snape grass. You need 356 of them, and you will get 87.5 XP per item with a total of 31104 XP. Experience per hour is 183 to 192k. The cost is 2.9 to 3 million, and you will lose 210 to 230k with 6 GP lost per XP

Level 38 to 63

Make prayer potions. You need a ranarr potion and snape grass. You need 3866 of them, and you will get 87.5 XP per item with a total of 338191 XP. Experience per hour is 183 to 192k. The cost is 32.1 to 32.3 million, and you will lose 2.3 to 2.5 million with 6 GP lost per XP

Level 45 to 63

Make super attack pots. You need an irit potion and the eye of a newt. You need 3071 of them, and you will get 100 XP per item for 307087. Experience per hour is 210k to 220k. The cost is 3.1 to 3.3 million, and you will lose 2.7 to 2.8 million with a 9 GP lost per XP

Level 63 to 80

Make super restore. You need a snapdragon potion and a red spider’s egg. You need 11351 of them, and you will get 142.5 XP per item for 1617469. Experience per hour is 299k to 313k. The cost is 117 to 118million, and you will lose 10.7 to 10.9 million with an 8 GP lost per XP

Level 80 to 84

Make bastion potions. You need CAD, blood potion, and wine of zamorak. You need 6228 of them, and you will get 155 XP per hour with a total XP of 965305. Experience per hour is 325k to 341k. The cost is 32 to 33 million, and you will lose 10.8 to 11 million GP with 8.5 GP per XP.

Level 84 to 94

Make extended anti-fire. You need an anti-fire potion and lava scale shard. You need 45394 of them, and you will get 110 XP per hour with a total XP of 4993421. Experience per hour is 231 to 242k. The cost is 72.5 to 73.5 million, and you will lose 52.5 to 53.5million GP with 10.5 GP per XP.

Level 94 to 99

You make anti-venom. You need anti-venom and torstol. You need 40319 and will get 125 XP per hour for 5039817 XP. You get 262 to 275k XP per hour. The cost is 469 to 471 million, and you lose 25 to 26 million GP with 4.5 GP per XP

Level 92 to 99 (alternate method)

You make super anti-fire. You need anti-fire potions and crushed sup, drag, and bones. You need 50133 and get 130 XP per item for a total of 6517178 XP. Experience per hour is 273 to 286k. The total cost is 655 to 658 million, and you lose 19.5 to 19.8 GP3 GP per XP

Level 98 to 99 (alternate method)

You make extended super anti-fire. You need extended super anti-fire potions and lava scale shards. You need 7681 of them, and you get 160 XP from each with a total of 1228825 XP. Experience per hour is 336 to 352k per hour. The total cost is 108 to 109 million, and you lose 5.7 to 5.8 million with 9 GP per XP 

Herblore Route 4

Quest

You need to finish the druidic ritual quest to get to level 3. Other recommended quests are shades of Morton and song of the elves.

In today’s guide, I also will show you how to get from 250k to 300k XP per day for only 20 to 30 minutes of your time every single day. 

There are many different things to do in farming, making this skill very expensive. Following this guide will take about 10 to 16 weeks of very AFK farming to reach level 99 farming.

Farming XP rewards

A total of 9 quests can be done for farming, and all of these will give you a total of 53500 XP. The list of quests is as follows

Suggested quest

• Tree gnome village quest – You will be awarded 2 quest points, 11450 attack XP, and a Gnome amulet of protection. This quest will let you run around the game more efficiently.
• Grand tree quest – You will be awarded 5 quest points, 7900 agility XP18400 attack XP, and 2150 magic XP. This quest will allow you to use the spirit tree.
• A fairy tale – growing pains – You will be awarded 2 quest points, 3500 farming XP, 2000 attack XP, and 1000 magic XP. This quest will give you the magic secateurs.
• A fairy tale II – Cure a queen! – You will be awarded 2 quest points, 3500 herblore XP, and 2500 thieving XP. This quest will let you use the fairy rings and skill lamps. 
• My arm’s big adventure – You will be warded 1 quest point, 19k herblore XP, 5k, and Farming XP. This quest will give you a disease-free herb patch to be used.
• Ghosts Ahoy! – You will be awarded 2 quest points and 2400 prayer XP. This quest will give you ecthophial, which grants you teleport ability
• Mourning’s end part I – You will be awarded 2 quest points, 25k hitpoint XP, and 25k thieving XP. This quest will give elf teleport crystals.

Tips and Tricks

• Use tool leprechauns because they can hold items for you
• Always use ultra compost because it gives the best yield
• If you can, do an allotment run every 80 to 90 minutes
• Always do the best herbs that you can
• Do 3 tree runs per day up to level 45 and start doing 2 tree runs per day after level 45
• Don’t be cheap when paying money to protect your crops. It is important to get the best yield
• Don’t forget to grow your calquat trees as it takes about 21 hours to grow fully
• Do fruit trees run once per day to stay on schedule
• This is optional but tries to have a jewelry box and portal nexus in your player-owned house

Allotment and Herbs

Locations

There are 6 locations for allotments and herbs.

They are South of Falador, West of Port Phasmatys, North of Ctherby, North of Ardugne, and Southwest corner of Hosidious house, which you need to get 50% favor to enter. The last location will be the farm guild; you must be level 45 to enter it.

Allotment Leveling

1-5

From levels 1 to 5, you will be planting potatoes. At level 2, you will be planting marigolds. This flower will protect your potatoes, tomatoes, and onions from diseases. 

5-12

From levels 5 to 12, you will be planting onions. 

12-20

From levels 12 to 20, you will be planting tomatoes. 

20-47

From levels 20 to 47, you will be planting sweetcorn. 

At level 23, you will make a scarecrow and replace the marigold. This will protect the sweetcorn from the birds. 

47-99

From levels 47 to 99, you will be planting watermelons. At level 47, you will replace the scarecrows with nasturtiums. This will protect your watermelon from diseases.

Gear

You can have a full graceful set. This will make your energy last a lot longer. You will need an ectophial, xeric talisman, Camelot tp, and ardougne teleport tab and skill necklace for teleportation. You also need to have a glory amulet for teleportation. You also need to have magic secateurs to increase your crop yield. You also need a spade, seed dibber, and a rake. You will also need seeds for your corresponding levels. 

Tree runs

Locations

There are 6 locations you can plant trees at.

They are west of Lumbridge, Varrock castle courtyard, Falador park, Taverley, tree gnome stronghold, and farming guild. The first 5 locations are done before level 65, and the last is after level 65, as you need to be at level 65 to enter the farming guild.

Sapling

For the tree runs, you will need saplings. This will be created with the respective tree seed in an empty pot, and you can water it. You can alternatively buy it off the grand exchange.

Tree Farming

15-30

From levels 15 to 30, you will be panting acorn, which will grow to become oak trees. You will need 3 runs a day and one tomato basket to protect it from disease. You will get 481 XP from each. 

30-45

From levels 30 to 45, you will be planting willow trees and need 3 runs per day. From level 45 to 60, you will be planting maple trees and need 2 runs per day. You will need 1 basket of apples to protect it from diseases, and you will get 1481 XP each. You will need one basket of oranges to protect it from diseases, and you will get 3448 XP each. 

60-75

You will plant yew trees from levels 60 to 75 and need 2 runs per day. You will need 10 cactus spines to protect it from diseases and get 7151 XP each. 

75-99

From levels 75 to 99, you will be planting magic trees and need 2 runs per day. You will need 25 coconut baskets to protect from disease and get 13914 XP each.

Gear

Use a Graceful outfit. You can have a glory amulet, a ring of wealth, spade, rake, Lumbridge teleport, Varrock teleport, house teleport, and 6 tree saplings.

Fruit trees

Locations

There are 6 locations for fruit trees.

They are tree gnome stronghold, east of Catherby, west of gnome village, north of Brimhaven, and the town of Lletya. All these are locations before you hit level 85. The location after 85 is the farming guild.

Fruit tree leveling

27-33

You will plant apple trees from levels 27 to 33 and need 45 sweetcorn to protect them with 1221 XP each. 

33-39

From levels 33 to 39, you will plant banana trees and need 20 baskets of apples to protect them with 1778 XP each. 

39-42

From levels 39 to 42, you will be planting orange trees and need 15 baskets of strawberries to protect them with 2505 XP each. 

42-51

From levels 42 to 51, you will plant curry trees and need 25 baskets of bananas to protect them, with 2946 XP each. 

51-57

From levels 51 to 57, you will be planting pineapple trees and will need 50 watermelons to protect them, giving 4662 XP each. 

57-68

From levels 57 to 68, you will be planting papaya trees and will need 50 pineapples to protect them with 6218 XP each. 

68-99

From levels 68 to 99, you will plant palm trees and need either 75 or 90 papayas with XP of 10260 each.

Gear

I have my full graceful set, skills necklace, spade, rake, 6 saplings, Varrock teleport, Camelot teleport, Ardougne teleport, and tiny elf teleport crystals.

Specialty

• Calquat trees – you can get 12516.5 XP per day. It is cheap and takes 21 hours to grow. It is located in Tai Bwo Wannai village, and you need farming level 72
• Spirit trees – You need level 83 farming. You can only grow one tree, but at level 91, you can grow 2, and at level 99, you can grow an unlimited amount of trees. It needs 2.5 days to grow, and you will get 19500 XP for each tree.
• Hardwood trees – Can be planted at fossil islands (3). Hardwood trees are teak, which gives you 7290 XP and the growing time is 2 days and 17 hours, and mahogany trees which give you 15720 XP, and the growing time is 3 days and 13 hours
• Redwood trees – The location is in the farming guild, and you can get 22450 XP each, and the growing time is 4 days. You need level 90 to do this.

From 1-10 do Witch’s potion quest and the imp catcher:

Lvl-1 enchant one of the first good spells you can use for early game leveling. In the early game, there will be some really tough enemies that you’ll have to take on, so you’ll be using this spell anyway. It requires that you’re level 7 and has the required runes for each spell, giving you 17.5 experience for each casting. Each casting requires a cosmic rune and water rune, so casting these spells can be very profitable if you have both.

The enchanting bolt spells you can use under level 20 also give you a lot of experience and could even allow you to gain a lot of gold in the process. Doing the Jade enchantment spell will get you 19 experiences per casting, which is very good, but it does take up some good runes that you may not see often. This also requires that you be a member, which you are likely already doing if you sink your time into OSRS.

Level 21-40

One of the better methods of leveling up your magic early on has been to cast fire strikes on Lava dragons which is easy as long as you have fire runes, air runes, and mind runes. You unlock the spell at level 18 and probably already been using that spell in your casual playing for a while. If you have some magic items such as staff or robes that benefit the usage of fire spells, you can level up easily and even make hundreds of thousands of gold every hour.

Alchemy spells are also a great choice when leveling up your avatar very fast. Alchemy has one of the highest ratios of XP per cast of any spell in Runescape. At this level range, you’re only able to use low-level alchemy, but later on, you’re going to be able to cast higher-level alchemy that can return a ton of cold and level you up very fast. Getting nature runes and fire runes for this magic binge is recommended to make the process of leveling up as optimal as possible.

Teleportation spells also offer you some of the best XP you can ask for. These spells are commonly used because you came out of a huge battle and are looking to recoup the damage of the previous battle you just came out of. You may also do this for training or to take on other quests that you may not have thought of before. There isn’t an exact amount of gold you’ll get for this, but it can be up to 100K if you optimize it properly. You also get 48 experiences per cast and only need law runes, water runes, and air runes.

Mid-game magic grinding (41-60)

High-level alchemy is one of the better spells to get experience at a higher level. This spell is good even in the late game and is practical when preparing for large quests or marathon dungeon sessions. It will take more experience to reach higher levels and more experience in this spell. You will need a lot of nature runes and fire runes; precisely, every nature rune requires 5 fire runes. But if you meet these prerequisites, you have a lot in store.

Enchantment spells are also more than a solid option for taking on many of the dungeons you go on and providing a good amount of experience in the process. You’ll get exactly 67 experiences for LVL-4 enchanting as well as enchanting diamond crossbow bolts. This is just good practice for big fights because you get the XP from the monster each time you decide to cast one of these spells. By this point in the game, you should have a lot of Earth runes, law runes, and cosmic runes, which will be consumed very fast when casting these spells.

Some spells don’t involve you in combat, which may be a bit more practical if you want to prepare for grinding sessions where you’ll be casting many spells for XP. An example of this could be the Bones to peaches spell. Even early game, you’re going to be finding a ton of bones that can be sold or used for many other purposes but can be helpful if you decide to save them. Every time you cast this spell, you’ll receive 65 XP, which is just a practical spell for recovering health in general.

Late game magic grinding (61-80)

When you get to level 61, you can use the Trollheim teleport spell, which takes up 2 law runes and 2 fire runes. You will have many of these by now and net you 68 experiences per usage. There’s also the Teleport to Ape Atoll Spell, which can net you slightly more experience at 74 XP for every user that decides to have it. However, using that spell will require the player to have a banana, a fire rune, a water rune, and 2 law runes.

By this point in the game, you will have gotten access to lunar spells. Using Bake Pie or Cure plant from their farms gives a healthy amount of experience at 65. Many of the spells used for farming can be one of the best methods of producing crops and gold, as well as some XP on the side. Some teleportation and curing spells can be pretty helpful outside of combat, but those won’t net you gold.

Lunar spells will also help some of the party members you choose to travel with. There are spells such as cure group, which will heal everyone within a certain radius and give you some XP. You could potentially be a healer for a player willing to pay you a fixed amount of gold so that you’re getting more money. This means you don’t even have to throw yourself into combat to gain experience and can be very helpful for ensuring that newer players don’t perish.

Endgame magic grinding (81-99)

By this point in the game, you would’ve had a lot of options for tackling experience points anywhere on the map in Runescape. Not only do you have access to every teleportation spell at this point, but you can also use the best utility spells the player can access.

Barrage/Burst spells are also some of the best options you can ask for at this point.

Method 1

Angler’s outfit

This outfit will increase your experience by 2.5%, and you need to do the fishing trawler minigame for this outfit. You also need level 15 fishing skills to catch fish in a fishing trawler quest. You can get this outfit within 1/8 game, and the game takes about 15 minutes to finish.

Quest

There are 8 quests that you can do for these fishing rewards. The total XP you will get is 38149, which is the quest list. 

• Recipe for disaster (pirate Pete) – 1000 XP
• Fishing contest – 2437 XP
• Heroes’ quest – 2725 XP
• The Fremmenik trials – 2812 XP
• Tai Bwo Wannai trio – 5000 XP
• Rum deal 7000 XP
• Sea slug – 7175 XP
• Swan song – 10000 XP

Level 1 to 24

You will be doing the sea slug quest at this level, and the only requirement is level 30 fire-making. You will need 61 normal logs and 183 oak logs, and you can get to level 30 fire-making in less than 15 minutes. After completing the quest, you will be rewarded with one quest point, 7175 fishing XP, and oyster pearls.

Level 24 to 58

Items needed are fly fishing rods and feathers, and the fishing location is the barbarian village and Shilo village. At this level, you will be catching trout and salmon. You will get 21k XP per hour and the time spent will be 10 to 11 hours.

Level 58 to 99 (Barbarian fishing method)

You can start at level 48, but it is better to start at 58 as you can catch the leaping trout and salmon. 

You will level 58 fishing and level 30 strength and agility. 

Once you hit level 70, you can add in leaping sturgeon, and for this, you will level 45 agility and strength. 

Before starting this method, you will need to finish some barbarian training. You will earn 1.2 million in experience in agility and strength. Make sure your shift drop option is always on so that you can drop all the fish from the inventory.

You will be catching leaping trout, salmon, and sturgeon at this level. You will need a barbarian rod and feathers. The location to catch first will be southwest of the barbarian outpost. You will have 58k experience per hour and the time spent will be about 220 to 225 hours.

Level 62 to 99 (Monkfish fishing method)

You will be fishing the monkfish at this level, and for this, you need to finish the swan song quest. Once you finish this quest, you will be awarded 2 quest points, 15k magic XP, 10k prayer XP, 10k fishing XP, 25k gold coins, and access to the Piscatoris fishing colony.

At this level, you will catch monkfish and need a small fishing net. You will be catching fish at Pictarios fishing colony and get 38k XP per hour. Time spent would be 360 to 365 hours. You will profit between 31 to 342 million with 100,000 GP per hour.

Level 65 to 99 (Karambwan fishing method)

You need to complete the Tai Bwo Wannai trio quest for this method. You will be awarded 2 quest points, 2500 attack and strength XP, and 5000 fishing and cooking XP. You will need access to the fairy ring system, and for that, you need to finish the fairy tale 2 quests. The location would be just north of fairy ring DKP. 

The location for this is the Karamja jungle (fairy ring DKP). At this level, you will be catching Karambwan and the items needed are a karambwan vessel, karambwanji, teleport method, and dramen staff. You will get 30k XP per hour and can be finished in 400 to 425 hours. You will profit between 110 to 115 million with 250k GP per hour.

Level 80 to 99 (infernal eel method)

At this level, you will be catching infernal eels. You can catch them at Mol-Ul-Rek, and for this, you will need a fire cape to enter. The infernal cannot be eaten but can be broken with a hammer to get loots of either onyx bolt tips or lava scale shards.

You will be catching infernal eel at this level, and items needed are an oily fishing rod, bait, hammer, and ice gloves. The location will be Mol Ul Rek, and you will get 32k XP per hour. Time spent will be 340 to 350 hours with a profit of 80 to 84 million and 240k GP per hour.

Level 82 to 99 (anglerfish method)

To catch angler fish at level 82, you need to have 100% favor with Piscirilius house. At this level, you will be catching anglerfish and the items needed are a fishing rod and sandworms. The location will be Piscarilius house, and you will get 21k XP per hour. The time spent will be 500 to 510 hours with a profit between 135 to 140 million and 250k GP per hour.

Level 67 to 99 (sacred eel method) 

For this method, you need to finish the regicide quest. Once completed, you will be awarded 3 quest points, 15k coins, 13750 agility XP, and a quick route to Isafdar via Arandar. When dissected, this eel will give the Zulrah’s scales and between 109 and 127 cooking experiences and will give you between 3 to 9 scales. You will need cooking level 72 to dissect these eels. 

You will catch the sacred eel at this level, and the items needed are a fishing rod, bait, and knife. The location will be Zul-Andra. It will give 21k XP per hour and the time spent will be 425 to 435 hours. The profit will be 84 million at 72 cooking and 147 million at 99 cooking with 200k GP per hour at 72 cooking and 340k GP per hour at 99 cooking.

Level 85 to 99 (dark crab method)

Completing elite wilderness diaries will give you a speed boost to catch the dark crab. You will catch dark crab at this level, and the item needed is the lobster pot, dark fishing baits, and coins. The location will be in the wilderness, and you will get 40k XP per hour with 240 to 250 hours spent. The profit will be 80 to 82 million with 330k GP per hour.

1) Fishing trawler

• Requires 15 fishing
• Gets 5k XP per hour
• Up to 100k GP per hour
• Done to obtain angler outfit (1/8 chance)
• The expected time to set is 7 hours.
• 50 points are needed for a chance at angler, and you can obtain from bailing water 2 points, repairing holes 5 points, fixing nets 7 points, attacking Kraken 10 points, and fixing broken rails from Kraken 10 points.

2) Lobster

• Requires 40 fishing and lobster pot
• Get 120 to 300 lobster per hour
• Get 11 to 28 XP per hour
• Get 30 to 65k GP per hour
• Angler outfit and Rada’s blessing are recommended

3) Tempoross

• Requires 35 fishing
• Get 17 to 92k XP per hour.
• Get 50 to 350k GP per hour.
• Recommended the best harpoon for point and crystals, spirit angler for fast fish XP, Regular angler for XP boost, and if solo, you will need a bucket, rope, and humidity runes in rune pouch.

4) Barbarian fishing

• Requires 48 fishing, 15 agility, and 15 strength
• You will need barbarian rods and feathers
• Get 40 to 65k XP per hour
• Get 3.6 to 5.9 XP per hour for both agility and strength
• It is recommended to have an angler outfit and dragon harpoon to boost

AFK Cooking Route 1-99 – Faster

Cooking Gauntlet

The Family crest quest is highly recommended to be done before you start your journey to 99 cooking because you can get a cooking gauntlet as the reward from this quest. Cooking gauntlets will decrease the burned rate of fish such as monkfish, anglerfish, swordfish, and lobster. 

Cooking locations

You need a game necklace to teleport to Burthorpe. Once reach here, we will run to the pub and reach the rogue’s den. Here you will have an everlasting fire that will never extinguish. 

The bank that will be just beside you is called Emerald Benedict. So you can stay at one place and cook while also using the bank.

The Hosidious kitchen does reduce your burn rate to 5%, but you need 100% Hosidious favor to use it.

When you open your bank, go to the menu, click filler and choose all. You can swap the cooked fish in the inventory and use the full account.

Cooking quest

There are several quests that you can use to get XP. The total XP you can get is 44260. This is the list of quests and given XP

Level 1 to 15

At this level, you will cook raw shrimp. You will cook 81, but you need to purchase 120 just if you burn them. You will get 30 XP for each for a total of 2411 XP. You will get 35k XP per hour and spend about 5 to 10 minutes. The cost would be 4100 to 4300, and you will lose 2100

Level 15 to 25

At this level, you will cook raw trout. You will cook 78, but you need to purchase 110 – 120 if you burn them. You will get 70 XP for each for a total of 5431 XP. You will get 85k XP per hour and spend about 5 to 10 minutes. The cost would be 1900 to 2100, and you will lose 250

Level 25 to 35

At this level, you will cook raw salmon. You will cook 182, but you need to purchase 220 just before burning them. You will get 90 XP for each for a total of 14564 XP. You will get 110k XP per hour and spend about 7 to 12 minutes. The cost would be 7900 to 8100, and you will gain 400 to 500

Level 35 to 64

At this level, you will cook raw tuna. You will cook 3841, but you need to purchase 4200 if you burn them. You will get 100 XP for each for a total of 384069 XP. You will get 120k XP per hour and spend about 3.5 to 4 hours. The cost would be 210 to 225k, and you will gain 170 to 180k.

Level 64 to 81

At this level, you will cook raw lobsters. You will cook 14882 of them, and you will not burn any. You will get 120 XP for each for a total of 1785803 XP. You will get 140k to 160k XP per hour and spend about 11 to 13 hours. The cost would be 1.9 to 2 million, and you will lose 145 to 150k.

Level 81 to 90

At this level, you will cook raw swordfish. You will cook 22526 of them, and you will not burn any. You will get 140 XP for each for a total of 3153514 XP. You will get 170k to 190k XP per hour and spend about 16 to 19 hours. The cost would be 4.7 to 4.8 million, and you will gain 350 to 370k.

Level 90 to 94

At this level, you will cook raw monkfish. You will cook 17322 of them, and you will not burn any. You will get 150 XP for each for a total of 2598282 XP. You will get 180k to 200k XP per hour and spend about 13 to 14.5 hours. The cost would be 5.1 to 5.2 million, and you will gain 1.4 to 1.5 million.

Level 90 to 99

At this level, you will cook raw sharks. You will cook 24238 of them, and you will not burn any. You will get 210 XP for each for a total of 5089817 XP. You will get 270k to 290k XP per hour and spend about 17.5 to 19 hours. The cost would be 14.4 to 14.6 million, and you will gain 3.4 to 3.6 million.

AFK Cooking Route 1-99 – Profit

Cooking can give about 10 million in profit once you reach level 99. You can get 800k to 950k XP as you reach level 99, and you can finish it in 16 to 20 hours.

Gears and unlocks

The only gear you need is the cooking gauntlet, and you can obtain it once you finish the family crest quest. It is useful for AFK training. This gauntlet will decrease your burn rate but only works on lobster, shark, monkfish, swordfish, and anglerfish. It is recommended to buy a fire cape and get 100% Hosidious favor

Cooking locations

Hosidious range reduces burn rate by 5% and 10% if you have completed the elite Kourend diary. But the Elite requires 79 cooking, 90 slayers, and 85 woodcutting. Do not cook past 50 cooking without the Hosidious range. You can cook on fire or range, but the range has lower burn rates. The myth’s guild range has a slightly bigger hitbox; the rogue’s den fire is equal to Mor-Ul-Rek. You will need your cape to enter, and you will not lose it. Only show it to the guard once, and you can enter. The hosidious range is 6 tiles only from the bank, so you can use this if you have a chance of burning. 

If you don’t have the cape, you can go to the cooking guild with the Varrock hard diary, two tiles from the bank. If you don’t have all those, you can go to rogue’s den, and it is zero tiles from the bank, but it has a burn rate because it is a fire, not range.

Level 1 – 15

Finish Cook’s assistant and Gertrude’s cat quest to get you to levels 4 and 12. With these quests, you only need to cook 28 shrimp. At this level, you need to cook 81 shrimp and buy about 200 shrimp to avoid burning all.

Level 15 to 25

At this level, you need to cook 78 trout and buy about 200 trout.

Level 25 to 35 

At this level, you need to cook 182 salmon.

1-Tick Karambwan

At level 30, you can cook Karambwan, and for this, you need to complete the Tai Bwo Wannai trio quest. This is more profitable than angler fish. You can 1-tick cook here, and you will have a 51% success rate at level 30 and a 100% success rate at level 99. You will stop burning this at level 93 in Hosidious.

You will get 800 to 950k XP per hour at 93 and 400k per hour at level 30. At level 35, you can mix wines. This will cost you 7 GP/XP, and you will get 500k XP per hour, but this is not as good as Karambwan.

Level 35 to 50

At this level, you need to cook 790 tuna and buy about 1000 tunas.

Level 50 to 62

At this level, you need to cook 1938 lobster. You will stop burning at level 61 with a booking gauntlet and the hosidious range. But it’s safe to buy at least 2500 lobsters.

Level 62 to 87

You will stop burning monkfish at level 82 with cooking gauntlets and hosidious range. At this level, you need to cook 24257 monkfish and buy about 30000 to avoid burning all. It gives 97 GP per monkfish and about 0.65 GP/XP.

Level 87 to 92

At this level, you need to cook 12119 sharks. Buy around 13500 to be safe. It gives 128 GP per cooked shark and about 0.61 GP/XP. You will stop burning at level 89 with cooking gauntlets and the Hosidious range.

Level 92 to 99

At this level, you need to cook 28336 anglerfish. Buy around 29000 to be safe. At this level, if you want to try Karambwan, then you need 30731 to reach level 99 from level 93

Bake pie

• requires 65 magic
• Need pie cooking level
• Cooks in 3 ticks
• Casting bake pie needs only 1 astral rune
• You get 500k cooking XP/HR and 100k magic XP/HR

Alternative #3

You will need 80 cooking, a cooking gauntlet, and 100% Hosidious favor to get a 5% decreased burn rate. If you have done Korend elite diary, you will have 10%. We will cook sharks, and each cooked shark is worth 948, and a raw shark is worth 735. This is an easy AFK money method. Each cooked shark is 210 XP if not burnt. The total value of the cooked shark is 1237452, and you gain about 272k XP. Once done, go to the grand exchange and sell it.

The quests

There are a total of 5 quests that provide hunter exp, and these 5 quests will give you a total of 40k exp.

• Natural history quest (mini-quest) – 1000 XP
• The ascent os Arceuus – 1500 XP
• Eagles’ peak – 2500 XP
• Monkey madness II – 15000 XP
• Song of the elves – 20000 XP

Traps

As you progress on your leveling of hunter skill, you will start to set up more traps at a particular time, and if you are hunting in the wilderness, you will be able to lay one more additional trap. Below is the list of how many traps you can lay for a certain level

• level 1 – 1 concurrent trap, two wilderness trap
• level 20 – 2 concurrent traps, three wilderness trap
• level 40 – 3 concurrent traps, four wilderness trap
• level 60 – 4 concurrent traps, five wilderness trap
• level 80 – 5 concurrent traps, six wilderness trap

For a faster catch rate, always bring one extra trap every time you go hunting.

Birdhouse method

Level 1 to 9

At this level, you only need to do the natural history quiz mini-quest and get 1000 XP to reach level 9. You need to visit the Varrock museum and speak to Orlando Smith to start the quiz.

Level 9 to 99 – Birdhouses

Start by doing birdhouses. For this, you need to do several quests.

The first quest will be the Druidic ritual quest which is a requirement for the dig site quest. By completing this quest, you will be awarded 4 quest points, 250 herblore XP, and access to herblore skill.

Next will be the dig site quest which will award you 2 quest points, 15300 mining XP, 2000 herblore XP, and 2 gold bars.

Next up is the bone voyage quest, which will award you 1 quest point and access to Fossil Island, where the birdhouse is located.

Birdhouse

Gear setup:

Full graceful, 4 birdhouses, digsite pendant, and some seeds. Use the cheapest seeds you can get hold of, I’m using Barley seeds. Each birdhouse requires 10 seeds.

Use the birdhouse which provides you the most EXP per run, the best tier you have access to. You can buy the birdhouses from the grand exchange or make them yourself.

How to create a Digsite Pendant in OSRS?

Before you can create a Digsite pendant you’ll first need to find a clean necklace at the Varrock museum specimen table, after completing the Digsite quest.

After that, you can create a Digsite pendant by casting the level 3 enchantment spell on a Ruby necklace. To cast the spell you’ll need 1 Cosmic rune and 5 fire runes.

How to make a birdhouse in OSRS?

To start making birdhouses, you need a log, clockwork, a chisel, and a hammer in your inventory. You also need a specific crafting level depending on the birdhouse you wish to create. Click on the log and then click on the clockwork, congrats you have now created a birdhouse!

Unlocking the Magic Mushtrees

Before you start with the run you should unlock the magic mushtrees for easier transportation around Fossil Island.

1. Teleport to Fossil Island using your digsite pendant. Just north of you in the house on the hill, there will be the first magic mushtree.
2. The next one is located in the north-western part of the island in Mushroom meadow.
3. The third one is located in the southwestern part of the island at the Sticky Swamp.
4. The fourth and last one is located in the south-eastern part of the island in Verdant Valley.

Birdhouse Locations and Birdhouse Run

There are four locations for birdhouses on Fossil Island, and they can be checked every 50 minutes.

Start doing your birdhouse run by teleporting to the Verdant Valley using the Magic mushroom we unlocked earlier. Two of the birdhouses will be at this spot.

Use your birdhouse on the spot and fill the seeds at the birdhouse.

Run slightly north-east until you find the second spot:

Now, use the Magic Mushroom to teleport to Mushroom Meadow. Run north and you’ll see another birdhouse spot.

Finally, run south to the final birdhouse.

Even at level 5, you can get around 53K XP per hour, and it will keep growing as you level up. They are real quick to do and real AFK, similar to how you do farm runs. In about 50 minutes you can come back and harvest and place out new birdhouses. You’ll get back your clockwork when you harvest the birdhouses and some other rewards.

The normal method

Level 9 to 15

At this level, you need to catch Feldip weasels. The noose wand item is needed, and you need to catch 31 of them. You will get 48 experiences per successful catch for 1442 experiences. The time needed is 30 minutes.

Level 15 to 29

At this level, you need to catch ruby harvest. The item needed is the butterfly net and butterfly jar (28 of them), and you need to catch 401 of them.

You will get 24 experiences per successful catch for 9620 experiences. You will have 15k experience per hour and the time needed is 30 to 45 minutes. From here onwards, you will have the ability to catch all types of lizards and salamanders up to level 99. This is a good experience but does not give a good profit

Level 29 to 47

At this level, you need to catch swamp lizards.

The item needed is small fishing nets and ropes, and you need to catch 416 of them. You will get 152 experience per successful catch for 63096 experience. You will have 20 to 40k experience per hour and the time needed is 2 to 3 hours.

Level 47 to 59

At this level, you need to catch orange salamanders. The item needed is small fishing nets, ropes, desert robes, and waterskins, and you need to catch 772 of them. You will have 50 – 65k experience per hour, and the time needed is 2.5 to 3 hours. You will get 224 experience per successful catch for 172759 experience.

Level 59 to 80

At this level, you need to catch red salamanders, located south of the Ourania altar teleport.

The item needed is small fishing nets and ropes, and you need to catch 6391 of them. You will get 75 – 90k experience per hour, and the time needed is 19.5 to 23 hours. You will get 272 experience per successful catch for 1738182 experience.

Level 80 to 99 – Great EXP/Hour

At this level, you can catch black salamanders in the wilderness.

The item needed is small fishing nets and ropes, and you need to catch 34613 of them. You will have 105 – 125k experience per hour, and the time needed is 88 to 105 hours. You will get 319.2 experience per successful catch for 11048363 experience.

Red Chinchompa method – Profit

Level 63 to 99 

To get to level 63, follow the normal method first, then start catching red chinchompa. For this, you need to finish the Eagles’ peak quest. You can hunt them at hunter cave, Feldip hills, and Prifddinas. The item needed is a box trap and needs to catch 47796 of them. 

You will get 265 experience per catch for a total of 12665832 XP. You will get 165k XP per hour, and time spent is 76 to 80 hours, with a profit of between 74 to 76 million GP

Black chinchompa method – Profit

Level 80 to 99

To get to level 73, follow the normal method first, then start catching black chinchompa. For this, you need to finish the Eagles’ peak quest. You can hunt them in the wilderness south of the canoe spot. The item needed is a box trap and needs to catch 38228 of them. 

You will get 315 experience per catch for a total of 12041536 XP. You will get 200k XP per hour, and time spent is 60 to 64 hours, with a profit of between112 to 116 million GP.

Maniacal monkeys method – Great AFK EXP

For this method, you need 60 hunters to finish the monkey madness II quest and 15 bones banana tablet. You can also bring bananas, knives, nature runes, and Kruk monkey greegree. You can have a ring of dueling and mud battle staff for the gear. Use the ring to teleport and then glide using the glider and click the monkey. 

There will be a monkey bar where you need to use the Kruk monkey greegree to get over it. When you reach the room, there will be the bone you can turn into a banana. 

Get up on the demonic gorillas and get to the boulder and once there, set upon the trap and wait for the monkey tail to be caught. It takes about 20 to 25 seconds. You can get extra crafting XP by using your knife on the damaged tails (15 XP per tail). 

You will about 60k XP per hour here, and it goes up as the level increases and up to 120k per hour XP when you are nearing 99. This is not profitable and not as much a good XP like other methods, but this is the AFK method, so it is far better in that term.

Axes and Equipment

Rune Axe

To cut the trees you will need an axe, and the best axe for non-members is the rune axe. You will need level 41 woodcutting, level 40 attack to wield, and 7000 GP to use this axe.

If you are a P2P, the Crystal or Infernal axe is the best in slot.

Dragon Axe

Another axe you can use is the dragon axe; for this, you will need level 61 woodcutting, level 60 attack to wield, it costs around 47k GP. The Dragon axe can also give you a temporary 3+ visible boost to your woodcutting level.

Infernal Axe/Crystal Axe

There is 2 upgraded version of the dragon axe. The first one would be the Infernal axe. You will need level 61 woodcutting, level 60 attack to wield, level 85 firemaking to make, you have a 1/3 chance to burn logs, and it costs 1.3 million GP to make.

To create the Infernal Axe, use a smouldering stone on the dragon axe.

This axe is great for afk and can save a few trips to the bank, while giving some additional firemaking EXP.

From level 70 onwards you can use the crystal axe with the completion of the quest, song of the elves. It is created using crystal shards, dragon axe, and crystal tool seeds, it costs around 5 million GP to create. If you wish to save money, continue using the Infernal axe or Dragon axe, or just pick either the Infernal axe or the Crystal axe.

Lumberjack Outfit and Woodcutting Guild

This outfit can be unlocked by doing the temple trekking mini-game, and it will give an extra 2.5 XP for every log you chop.

To equip a lumberjack outfit you need level 44 woodcutting and this will give a total boost of 2.5%

Once you reach level 60 woodcutting and have 75% favor with Hosidious house, you should do all your woodcutting at the woodcutting guild. Cutting trees inside the guild gives an extra invisible 7+ boost to your woodcutting level.

Method 1 (Fastest)

Level 1 to 15

At this level, you will chop regular trees, and you only need to chop 97 logs to get to level 15

Level 15 to 30

At this level, you will chop oak trees, and you only need to chop 293 logs to get to level 30. You can chop these just outside of the Varrock western bank.

Level 30 to 35

You will chop willow trees at this level, and you only need to chop 134 logs to get to level 35. 

If you are free to play player, you can continue here until level 99, and you will need to chop 192,905 logs to get 99 woodcutting. You can chop these outside the Draynor Village bank, as it’s very close to the bank.

Level 35 to 99

At this level, you will chop teak trees. If you are not doing any tick manipulation, you only need to do teak trees until level 62. If you are doing two tick manipulation, you will double your XP and it’s therefore an effective way to 99, but it’s not as AFK as method 2 or 3.

You will need a short bow on rapid and nothing in your ammo slot. You also need runes to cast low-level spells. The first cast a spell on 2 rabbits and line them up. Then start casting spells on the rabbit and chop trees to get 2x XP.

North-east of Prifddinas

South of Ape-atoll

Level 62

At this level, you can chop the Blisterwood tree in Darkmeyer, and you need 65,955 to reach level 90 or 167114 to reach level 99.

The Blisterwood tree is located east of the Darkmeyer bank, as shown in the picture below.

Level 65+

At this level, you will be chopping Sulliusceps mushrooms in the fossil island, and you need 38559 to get to 90 or 99095 to get to 99. This is the fastest woodcutting method in the game, but you need to finish the quest bone voyage.

You should have a high hit point and defense level because tar monster and spine mushroom will damage you. You can bring a Dragonfire shield, ring of suffering, hit point cape, regen bracelet, antidote, axe, digsite pendant, rake, and some food.

Level 90+

At this level, you should chop redwood trees at the woodcutting guild, and you need 20.232 logs to reach level 99.

Method 2 (Most AFK)

For this method, you need an iron axe at level 1, steel axe at level 6, black axe at level 11, mithril axe at level 21, adamant axe at level 31, rune axe at level 41, dragon axe at level 61, and crystal axe at level 71.

Level 1-60

• Levels 1 to 15 – chop regular trees (97 total logs)
• Level 15 to 30 – Chop oak trees (293 total logs)
• Level 30 to 35 – Chop willow trees (134 total logs)
• Level 35 to 99 – Chop teak trees (153083 total logs)
• Level 30 to 60 – Chop willow trees (3858 total logs)

Level 60-99 – Woodcutting Guild

Once reaching level 60 go get 75% in the hosidius house to enter the woodcutting guild and reach level 99 from here because you get 7+ invisible boost in the woodcutting guild.

• Level 60 to 75 – Chop yew trees (5353 total logs)
• Level 60 to 90 – Chop yew trees (28987 total logs)
• Level 60 to 99 – Chop yew trees (72919 total logs)
• Level 75 to 90 – Chop magic trees (16544 total logs)
• Level 75 to 99 Chop magic trees (47297 total logs)
• Level 90 to 99 Chop redwood trees (20232 total logs)

All these logs can be banked to get the profit.

Method 3 (Alternative Route)

Woodcutting guild

After level 60 you need to get to the woodcutting guild, located in the southern part of Hosidious house. You need level 60 woodcutting to enter the guild 75% Housidious house favor. You will get a +7 invisible woodcutting level inside the guild.

Level 1 to 15

You will be chopping normal trees and using iron axe (level 1), steel axe (level 6), and black axe (level 11). Each chopped log will give 25 XP for a total of 2411 XP. You get 11k XP per hour. You need to chop 97 total logs and spend about 10 to 15 minutes with no profit.

Level 15 to 30

You will be chopping oak trees using a black axe (level 11) and a mithril axe (level 21). Each chopped log will give 37.5 XP for a total of 10952 XP. You get 20k XP per hour. You need to chop 293 total logs and spend about 30 to 40 minutes with no profit.

Level 30 to 60

You will be chopping willow trees and using a mithril axe (level 21), adamant (level 31), and rune axe (level 41). Each chopped log will give 67.5 XP for a total of 260379 XP. You get 35k XP per hour. You need to chop 3858 total logs and spend about 7 to 8 hours with no profit.

Level 35 to 60

You will be chopping teak trees using an adamant axe (level 31), and a rune axe (level 41). Each chopped log will give 85 XP for a total of 251336 XP. You get 42k XP per hour. You need to chop 2957 total logs and spend about 6 to 7 hours with no profit.

Level 60 to 90

You will be chopping yew trees using a rune axe (level 41). dragon axe (level 61) and crystal axe (level 70). Each chopped log will give 179.375 XP for a total of 5072390 XP. You get 45k XP per hour. You need to chop 28280 total logs and time spent about 110 to 115 hours with a profit of 5.3 to 5.4 million.

Level 90 to 99

You will chop redwood trees and use a crystal axe (level 70). Each chopped log will give 389.5 XP for a total of 7688099 XP. You get 60k XP per hour. You need to chop 19738 total logs and time spent about 125 to 130 hours with a profit of 5.7 to 5.8 million GP.

Level 75 to 99 (extreme AFK)

You will be chopping magic trees and using a crystal axe (level 70). Each chopped log will give 256.25 XP for a total of 11824010 XP. You get 24k XP per hour. You need to chop 46143 total logs and time spent about 490 to 495 hours with a profit of 49 to 49.5 million GP.
