If you wish to consistently earn tons of herbs while in Ironman mode, the best way you can do this is through farming.

Every 75 minutes, you can do herb farming runs through the nine patches found within the game. So, the more runs you do every 75 minutes, the more herbs you can get. But even with just one herb run for the day, you can easily earn tons of herbs for you to use over time.

How to Get Various Herbs Over Time

If you wish to earn herbs quickly and easily, you can do the Kingdom of Miscellenia quest. All you have to do is always invest your money into it and keep it up to 90 percent. That way, you can quickly collect a wide variety of herbs this way. 

With that being said, it’s recommended to unlock your kingdom right away as an easy means of stacking herbs for your herblore experience. 

Bossing Slayer Tasks

Your drops will depend on the creature you will fight, and some might even drop secondary ingredients as well. Consistently doing bosses through slayer is also an excellent means of earning both herbs and seeds over time. 

Herbiboars

Another method you can utilize is through herbiboars. This method works similar to those tracking-hunter methods where you have to locate the creature you intend to harvest. The best thing about this method is that doing it will allow you to train your hunter and obtain herbs simultaneously. 

It is helpful to use a rune light for this method for easy harvesting. The RuneLite client will show you a path that leads you towards the blue light. This blue light indicates where the herbiboars are. Keep following the path until you reach the harvesting location lit in green. 

Every harvest you do will earn you 2,000 hunting experience and several decent herbs. In addition, you might want to switch your regular secateurs with magic secateurs when harvesting herbiboars for herbs. This is because magic secateurs lets you gain an extra herb. 

How to Get Seeds on an Ironman

The best way to obtain seeds for an Ironman is through pickpocketing master farmers.

If you decide to obtain seeds this way, it is also recommended to wear the rogue’s outfit. Wearing this outfit while pickpocketing master farmers will allow you to earn double the amounts of your pickpocketed herb seeds every hour.

 

Another good option you can do for collecting seeds is through daily farming contracts. You can also obtain seeds by topping up your seeds through the master farmers.

Another option is through slayer since some mobs such as Aberrant Spectres frequently drop different herb seeds and herbs. 

With Slayer, you can also unlock the herb sack, which will allow you to collect herbs during slayer tasks, and do farm runs easily. 

Getting Secondary Ingredients for Creating Potions Ironman

With enough herbs at your disposal, you can now create a wide variety of potions for the game. But before anything else, you need to own the primary and secondary ingredients to mix with your herbs and create a potion. With that being said, here is a brief guide on how you can earn the secondary ingredients for your potions. 

Snape Grass: For making ranarr potions, you will need snape grass. These can be obtained by picking them up in Relleka. However, you can also plant these instead. In turn, doing this will provide you with farming experience too. For that matter, it’s highly recommended that you farm snape grass while doing your herb runs. Doing so will provide you with more amounts over time. 

Mort Myre Fungus: Mort myre fungus is a lot harder to collect. Upon finally getting the blessed sickle, you can visit the Mort Myre swamp to gather mort myre fungus. You can gather around 600 to 800 Mort Myre fungus per run. 

Chocolate Dust: Next up, we will discuss where you can obtain chocolate dust. This item is regularly used for energy potions and can be obtained upon completing the Recipe for Disaster quest. 

Harralanders: Harralanders are cleaned grimy harralanders. They can also be obtained through farming. As for harralanders, you can produce compost with them to help you with your farming. You can create ultra compost by mixing harralanders with volcanic ash, which you can obtain by mining them on Fossil Island. 

Eye of newts: You can purchase these in bulk through various shops. Each purchase will easily provide you with 100 experience as well. 

Irits: Irits are commonly dropped when doing slayer, making them easy to collect. 

Limpwurts: These are difficult to obtain, so it’s best to gather them through farming. You can gather limpwurt seeds by killing deviant specters. 

White berries: To collect tons of white berries, you can simply plant a single white berry. All you have to do afterward is wait for white berry bushes to grow and provide you with more white berries. You can also kill kurasks for white berries. 

Potato Cactuses: You can obtain these by slayer or planting them. 

Red Spider Eggs: You can obtain these ingredients by fighting Venenatis, they drop 500 noted at a 1/42 rate. 

Crushed Nests: You can earn many crushed nests by doing daily birdhouse runs. The Kingdom of Miscellenia will also provide you with a ton of crushed nests. Additionally, you can also kill the giant mole for more crushed nests. 

Wine of Zamorak: An excellent means to consistently earn wines of zamorak is by telegrabbing them in the wilderness. You can also speed them up with the elite wilderness diary. However, resorting to such a method is risky.
