Acquiring Beginner Clue Scrolls

Now that you have gathered all the times listed and achieved the necessary skill levels, you are ready to acquire the Beginner Clue scrolls.

The most efficient way of obtaining the beginner clues scrolls is through Young Impling Jars.

Another way to get the beginner clue scrolls is through killing Minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security or Goblins. Killing minotaurs over Goblins also has the bonus of enabling you to use your Skull Sceptre (i) more because it drops right skull half pieces that you can use to recharge the sceptre with.

Efficient Hot and Cold Method

For first-time clue runners, you will need a hot and cold orb from Reldo in the Varrock Library. This orb will let you know if you are close or far from the clue spot. The first step is to teleport to the Al-Kharid Duel Arena and use the orbs. It is important to pay attention to the chatbox since it will tell you one of four messages:

  • Hot
  • You got the one located in Al-Kharid
  • Warm
  • You got the one located in the Cow Pen in Lumby Mill
  • Cold
  • You got the one located in a wheatfield in Draynor. Use the glory teleporter to get there.
  • Very cold
  • You will need to get to Draynor and once again use the orb.
  • Warm
  • It is the Draynor manor one
  • Very Cold
  • It is the Ice Mountain one
