Introduction

Training the Slayer skill results from an intense grind, but using certain items can be more efficient. Out of all the items you can use while training, 5 can be considered the most useful. These items can boost efficiency and profit per hour.

The Items

#5. Herb Sack

The herb sack is a useful item that can be acquired in several ways. You can get it for 750 Slayer reward points or from Farmer Gricoller’s Rewards for 250 Tithe Farm points. You can get it from any Slayer Master if you have enough slayer points. However, to get it, you need level 58 Herblore. The herb sack proves its usefulness by storing up to 30 of each herb. It can store a total of 420 herbs. This can be useful since most Slayer tasks will drop grimy herbs.

#4. Holy Wrench

The Holy Wrench is an essential item you can get as a quest reward when completing the Rum Deal quest. The wrench will boost the player’s Prayer points restoration by 2% when kept in the inventory. When drinking a prayer potion, instead of getting 25%, you restore 27%. Keep in mind that other items in the game have the same effect. These effects do not stack.

#3. Bonecrusher

To obtain the Bonecrusher, you need to complete the hard Morytania Diary. The item is useful when farming the Catacombs of Kourend. When the Bonecrusher is present in the inventory and charged with ecto-tokens, the Bonecrusher will automatically bury the bones of a killed monster that drops bones. With ecto-tokens, you add 25 charges. When you bury bones in the catacombs, you restore prayer points.

#2. Slayer Ring

This can be considered essential for farming Slayer points and completing Slayer tasks. Its usefulness comes from its ability to teleport the player to 5 locations used to farm for Slayer tasks. Obtaining the ring is done in two main ways. The first method is to buy the ring with 75 Slayer points from any Slayer Master. A better option is to unlock the craft ability to make the ring. You need to purchase the Ring Bling unlock for 300 points, enabling you to make them using an enchanted gem, a gold bar, and a ring mold. You will need a furnace to craft the ring. Each crafter ring grants 15 crafting experiences. When you craft a ring, you get 8 charges on it. Once consumed, the ring turns into an enchanted gem. Additionally, if you can get an eternal gem, you can make the eternal version of the Slayer ring with unlimited teleport charges.

#1. Slayer Helmet

The Slayer Helmet is a piece of headgear that you make by combining several pieces of Slayer equipment. You can create the helmet with level 55 crafting and the Malevolent masquerade ability unlocked. The ability can be unlocked with 400 Slayer reward points. It is such a great item because it combines all the effects of the Nose peg with the Black mask, Spiny helmet, Face mask, Earmuffs, and an enchanted gem. The Slayer helm has a 16.67% increase in melee damage and accuracy.
