OSRS Tithe Farm Guide

Tithe farm is a mini-game that you can grind out farming XP, unlike traditional farming in which you have to wait for your plants to grow. Tithe farming also gives good rewards.

Requirements For Tithe Farm

You need 100% Hosidius favour in the Hosidius house. This house does not take very long to get 100%.

You also need at least 34 levels in farming at the lowest level, but the suggested level is 74 farming for this guide. This will give you great XP. But level 34 farming is already good enough. You would also want to have graceful clothing and stamina potions. Overall there is a lot of running involved here.

Having access to the humidify spell will be convenient as it would speed up the process, but you need to do the dream mentor quest. You don’t need the humidify spell, but it would be great to have.

Setup

For your setup, you might want to have a full graceful outfit as it would make a significant difference to your run energy. Therefore having this set up is recommended as you would be running around a lot.

The Xeric’s talisman is used to transport to the tithe farm, but there are also other alternatives for this. The steam battlestaff is also an excellent addition to your setup for the water and fire rune requirement for humidity. However, you may replace this with water runes and fire runes in your inventory.

You don’t use that many humidify spells, and it only has a handful of runes for each time. The battlestaff generally gives you more convenience. In the inventory, you need eight watering cans.

If you have the watering can reward from tithe farm, it will save some inventory space, but it only matters if you bring a lot of stamina potions to stay there for a long time.

You need a seed dipper for you to plant seeds and also a spade to harvest fruit. You also need some astral runes. You also need 11 stamina potions. However, you are close to the bank, so that you may bring only a handful of items.

Tithe Farm Location

The tithe farm is the patch of land in the Hosidius house.

You may use the Xeric’s glade to teleport to the north of the tithe farm, or you may use the Kourend teleport to the center of Zeah, then go to the tithe farm.

Method

The tithe farm is simple. You may pick up your seeds from the table in the farmer’s house, and then you will receive 100 seeds at a time. You cannot take more than 100 with you.

The farmer will ask you if you know what you are doing upon entering. You can plant your seed in any patch other than the ones where there are dead plants.

Each plant will grow in quick stages, and they have to be watered thrice before they fully grow. If a plant grows without being watered, it will die. Any plants that die will make a big dent in your XP and points per hour.

The fertilizer that you are given will speed up the process of growth, but it is not necessary and just complicated. You don’t want to plant one seed at a time and wait for your plants to grow so you may plant 20 at a time then go back to the first one to water it. With four plants per patch, you need five patches to do this process.

Here are the patches we recommend to use:

You should also estimate the time that you plant and have your process that you see fit would make things easier for you as you go along. Continue to plant and water the seeds. Alternate the watering cans that you use from plant to plant to make sure that your plants get watered.

Before you leave the farm, make sure that all your fruits are deposited in the sack.

You don’t get any points for the first 74 fruits that you turn in. Then after the 74th, you get 1 point per fruit, and they also give you great bonuses. After you harvest the 100 fruits, you then can go back and take seeds again and plant once more.

Tithe Farm Experience Per Hour

If you are at 74 farming and use the highest level seeds, you get up to 100,000 XP per hour.

If you are at 54 farming at medium level seeds, you get 61,000 XP per hour.

If you are at level 34 farming and use low-level seeds, you get up to 26,000 XP per hour. Regardless of the level, you still get about 70 points per hour, though. For farming XP, this is the best in the game for grinding farming.

Tithe Farm Rewards

For 200 points, you can buy the watering can, which takes up to a thousand charges. It needs to be charged with tithe farm points. Twenty points will charge a full can. Using this can will cost you 6 points per run or 16 points per hour.

You can buy the seedbox, on the other hand, for 250 points. The box can hold up to 6 different kinds of herb seeds and a max number of these seeds. This saves you inventory space.

For 400 points, you may buy the farmer’s outfit that will give you a 2.5% XP boost in farming if you have the full set which consists of the farmer’s hat for 75 points, farmer’s torso for 150 points, farmer’s legs for 125 points, and farmer’s boots for 50 points.

For 50 points, you may buy the auto-weed system, which stops weeds from growing back, which can give you convenience. You don’t have to bring your rake anymore as long as you rake a patch one time after you buy this.

You may also buy the Bologa’s Blessing for a point per scroll. This can be used to turn grapes into Zammy grapes when you harvest them for wines. You need to unlock the ability to unlock it from Bologa for 75,000, and you need to have 50 prayer to buy it. You also need to be wearing one Zammy item for that purchase.
