Killing Ice Warriors and Ice Giants for the Slayer task is lucrative and not that challenging. They do not require a very high level and minimal preparation for the task. On top of it all, Ice Warriors also award good XP. If you know how to farm them properly, you can get reasonable experience and GP. They do hit high, meaning that you need decent defense and some food to manage your hitpoints. If you are low defense, remember to a safe spot to avoid losing too many hitpoints.

Asgarnian Ice Dungeon – Ice Giants/Ice Warriors

This is the best place to kill Ice Warriors and Ice Giants. Both spawn in the area, but you can selectively farm just one of them if you wish to do so. There are plenty of spawns in the area, which should be enough to complete the Slayer task. You may need to swap worlds after you kill all of them. To get to the location, you can use the Fairy Ring AIQ.

You will need to complete the Fairy Tale part 2 to get the ring. Another option is to use the house teleport. Your house needs to be located in Rimmington. Your third option is using the minigame tab to use the pest control teleport. Lastly, you can get to the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon using the Amulet of Glory.

You will see a small ladder once you teleport to the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon. Climb down into the dungeon. You will need to travel north past a group of pirates. After you pass, the pirates move east. You will see Ice Giants in the area. You will find a few places where you can safe spot both the Ice Warriors and Ice Giants.

Tips

  1. Ice Warriors are weak to everything, so bring your preferred gear.
  2. You can farm Ice Giants, which are the same as Ice Warriors. The only difference is that they hit one point higher.
  3. The Clue scroll is the only drop you should care about when farming Ice Warriors. It has a 1/128 chance to drop. Everything else that Ice Warriors drop has very little value.
  4. While the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon is the most recommended spot to kill both Ice Warriors and Ice Giants, there are other areas you can farm as well. You can find them in the Ice Queen’s Lair, Northern and Southern Frozen Waste Plateau, and White Wolf Mountain. The worst place to farm them is the White Wolf Mountain. Only two of them spawn in the area.
  5. Bring a cannon with you. It will help you kill the Ice Warriors and Ice Giants for your Slayer task much faster if placed correctly.
  6. Bring plenty of food. Ice Warriors and Ice Giants can hit very hard, especially with low defense.
