Wyrm Slayer Guide

Requirements

To kill Wyrms, you need to have level 62 slayer. You will find the wyrms in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. This monster has a combat level of 99, with a maximum hit of 13, which will give you 133 XP per kill. It is weak to stab and range.

Gear Setup

Range

For the range setup, you may want to use: 

• Slayer helm or the Black mask (i)
• Necklace of anguish 
• Armadyl chestplate
• Armadyl chainskirt
• Pegasian boots if you have completed the Elite Kebos Diary or the Boots of Brimstone if you haven’t
• Barrows gloves
• Twisted buckler
• Toxic blowpipe or DHCB or Twisted bow or Armadyl Crossbow 
• Ava’s assembler
• Archer’s ring (i)
• Amethyst broad bolts or Rune arrows, or Addy darts.

Inventory Setup(Ranged)

For your inventory, you might want to bring two bastion or ranging potions, Bonecrusher, 4 to 5 prayer potions, a rune pouch filled with nature runes as well as fire runes, 10 to 12 manta rays or sharks, one-click teleport, an herb sack, and items for the fairy ring.

Melee Magic Defence Setup

For the magic melee defense setup, you would want to use the 

• slayer helm or the black mask (i) 
• amulet of torture or the amulet of fury
• armadyl chestplate 
• armadyl chainskirt 
• primordial boots if you have completed the Elite Kebos Diary or the granite boots if you have not
• ferocious gloves
• avernic 
• ghrazi rapier or dragon hunter lance 
• infernal or fire cape
• berserker ring or treasonous ring or even the brimstone ring
• rada’s blessing

For additional prayer, you might want to change some of the items in your setup to halo, Dragon bone necklace, proselyte or initiate or mont, holy wraps, unholy book, or the book of balance, god clock, and the ring of the gods.

Inventory Setup

For your inventory, you would want to bring at least 2 supersets or super combat potions, 8 to 19 manta rays or sharks, a Bonecrusher, an herb sack, a spec weapon, 1 to 2 prayer potions, 1 click teleport, a rune pouch with nature runes and fire runes in it, and also some items for the fairy ring.

Melee Strength Setup

For the melee strength setup, you would want to have the following gear: 

• slayer helm or black mask (i)
• amulet of torture or the amulet of fury
• bandos chestplate
• bandos tassets
• primordial boots if you have completed the Elite Kebos Diary or granite boots if not
• ferocious gloves
• avernic defender
• ghrazi rapier or dragon hunter lance
• infernal or fire cape
• berserker ring (i) or treasonous ring (i)
• rada’s blessing

For prayer bonus, use the proselyte hauberk and the proselyte cuisse instead.

Inventory Melee Setup

For your inventory, you would want to bring a spec weapon, a holy wrench, a rune pouch to store nature and fire runes in, a click teleport, 8 to 10 prayer potions, items for the fairy ring, an herb sack, 2 super attack and strength potions, 3 to five manta rays or sharks, and a Bonecrusher.

How To Get To Karuulm Slayer Dungeon

To get to the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon, what you can do is use the fairy ring code CIR. You may also use the skills necklace teleport for the farming guild. Then you have to run climb down to the dungeon. Once inside the dungeon, the wyrms are in the western room.

Strategy Using Range

Turn on your auto retaliate. Put on rapid and also your preserve prayer. Drink a dose of your bastion or ranging potion. Then attack the wyrm that is not being attacked by another player.

Strategy Using Melee Magic Defence

For melee, wear your magic defensive gear, then drink your potions and have your weapon on stab and simply attack them. Since your magic defence is strong in this setup, you don’t need protection prayers.

Melee and Prayer

For melee and prayer, turn on your protect from magic prayer and attack a wyrm. This method would be really fast.
