Introduction
Not all slayer tasks are worth doing. Some slayer tasks are so unrewarding, slow, or inefficient to do that you should just skip them. This guide is for people with 75 combat or higher who use Konar, Nieve, or Duradel as their slayer master.
To make it easier to decide which ones are worth doing and which ones are not, we will rate the Slayer tasks. Keep in mind that there are high-level and low-level tasks, and there are good and bad in both categories. Even if a task may be ranked poorly, it may still be worth doing at least once for you to judge if it is worth your time or not.

Aberrant Spectres
XP per hour for Aberrant Spectres is decent and may be worth doing. The only downside is that you cannot AFK farm them because you have to run around a lot. GP per hour is also decent. While it may not be a great task, it is worth doing.
Abyssal Demons
Abyssal Demons are worth doing. They offer decent XP per hour mainly because they have low defense and are easy to kill. Loot is also above average because they drop whips and alcohol. It is one of the better tasks for melee XP. Additionally, this is one of the AFK tasks that you can do as you can stack multiple of them on top of you.
Adamant Dragons
The XP per hour for Adamant Dragons is horrible due to their high defense. This makes them very hard to kill, and as a consequence, you do not get all that much loot per hour. The only positive to this task is that it does not take long.
Ankou
If you do not care about loot per hour, this task is worth doing. EXP per hour is decent, and you can stack multiple of them on top of you in the Catacombs. This means that you can AFK while doing this task, and despite being a bad task for loot, it is worth doing.
Bloodvelds
Farming Bloodvelds can be lucrative, especially since you can stack them on top of you and farm them while AFK. Loop per hour is poor, but they are worth doing because of the EXP.
Basilisks
As far as mid-level tasks go, Basilisks are worth doing. The EXP per hour is not great, and loot is nothing to brag about.
Cave Horrors
Cave Horrors offer really good EXP per hour and decent loot per hour. You can also AFK farm them, which is why this task is worth doing.
Dagannoth
You can get amazing EXP per hour if you stick to killing Dagannoth Kings. Loot is still below average, but you can use cannons. Overall it is a task worth doing.
Dark Beasts
This task is worth doing as you get above-average EXP per hour. Loot per hour is below average, but it is a good task to pick up because you can do it with a cannon and AFK.
Dust Devils
Dust Devils are worth killing. They offer excellent exp and above-average loot. This is one of the tasks that you should never skip.
Gargoyles
Gargoyles are another task that is worth doing. They give above-average EXP and loot. The only condition is to kill regular Gargoyles so that you can AFK safely.
Greater Demon, Hellhounds, and Jad
Even though you almost get no loot from these, it is a task worth doing. Greater Demons award above-average EXP per hour, and you can AFK safely. Hellhounds are the same and are also worth doing. Jad, you can also do for similar EXP per hour but again, no loot.
Jellies
Even if the loot from Jellies is below average, the EXP per hour makes them worth doing. Jellies are burstable, making it a rather fun task.
Kalphites
Kalphites do not give good loot, but it’s quick EXP. You can use a cannon for this task.
Nechryael
This task is one of the best Slayer EXP per hour. It will pay for all your consumables and make you a profit; thus, it is worth doing. The same goes for the loot.
Rune Dragons
Rune Dragons are one of the few types of dragons worth doing. They are hard to kill, but their loot is great. The EXP per hour is low, but because you do not have to kill many of them for the task, it is a quick way to get decent loot and Slayer points.
Smoke Devils
Smoke Devils is one of those tasks you should do if you need EXP per hour. The loot is nothing to brag about. If you want quick Slayer points and EXP, you should not skip this task.
Suquahs
Suquahs do not drop anything worth picking up; the loot per hour is nonexistent. However, the EXP per hour is very good, and you can use a cannon for this task. If you like high EXP per hour, this task is worth doing.
Vyrewatches
Vyrewatches are worth doing because they offer a good balance between loot and EXP per hour. They have reasonable above-average loot and EXP, and they are easy to kill. It is a task that can be done while AFK.
