OSRS Is Amulet Of Bloodfury Worth Getting?

Amulet of Bloodfury

Amulet of blood fury is an amulet of fury enhanced with blood shard and has the same stats as the amulet of fury but, when you are using it in melee, you have chances (20%) of healing players of the damage (30%) they deal.

Most players will not or cannot buy it because it is costly. The amulet itself cost 1.5 million and the blood shard cost a whopping 5.6 million. It has 10,000 charges and it will deplete with each successful hit with melee.

The shard will break once the charges are consumed fully, leaving the player with the amulet only. So you need to regularly charge and each charge cost about 576 GP.

How and Where To Use The Amulet of Bloodfury

If you are a rich player, going for melee bossing, going for a long trip, or pet hunting with maximum kill per hour then this amulet is for you. But don’t worry if you are not a rich player because you can still use it. If you are going to kill bosses make sure you can use melee on it and also make sure the boss is very profitable. You need to remember that the charges on this amulet will go down even if you don’t get healing from it.

If you are using a weapon that hits multiple times per attack like a scythe, it will consume multiple charges.

If you are using a regular old whip, the 10,000 charges are going to equal to about 7 hours of melee combat and if you do the calculation, it will cost about 814,000 per hour to use the amulet. Another example is the Cerberus, which makes you 2 million per hour and when you subtract 800k from the necklace, you still have 1.2 million.

Some potential bosses are Nightmare, Solo CoX, ToB, Melee Vorkath, and Cerb. Some bosses that I will not use are Abyssal Sire, Wildy Bosses, Corp, GWD, and Kalphite Queen. Really it’s most useful when learning a new boss, or if you are an ironman.

Conclusion

This amulet can be useful to learn new and hard bosses and has a big potential for one trip kill of maximum monsters. Having said that, it costs 800k/hour to use, so it’s not recommended generally.
