Crocodile Slayer Task
Crocodile is one of the lower-level monsters, but it does provide some decent experience. There are few in the same area, so it is one of those slower tasks, but it has no requirement, and the only thing you need is an adequate water supply. The crocodile is pretty weak and vulnerable to any attack equipment. Their attack style is melee-based and hits a maximum of 6 times.
Equipment Options
The armor and weapon for melee can be a set of mix and match. You can focus on some defense equipment like mithril or rune full set with an average DPS weapon like a scimitar, combat bracelet, amulet of glory, and black mask.
- Rune full helm
- Ardounge Cloak
- Amulet of glory
- Rune Scimitar
- Rune platebody/platelegs
- Rune kiteshield
- Combat bracelet
- Climbing boots
For ranged options, you can choose a crossbow with a broad bolt or mithril bolt. You can also use 2 different types of amulets, Amulet of glory and amulet of fury. The use of D’hide equipment will make your defense much stronger.
Crocodile Location
To get to the crocodile you need to teleport to Pollnivneach, and there are 4 ways to do it.
- Pollnivneach player own house (POH) – Teleport directly from your house or use Scroll of Redirection
- Nardah teleport – Can purchase from the Grand Exchange
- Glory teleport – Can purchase from the Grand Exchange (also need 205 GP)
- Ring of Dueling – Can purchase from the Grand Exchange (also need 205 GP)
Inventory Setup & Tips
Some things you need to bring before, Pollivneach teleport to get there, a slayer ring to leave, some coins, a crossbow, and bolts to lure the crocodile, some food, and a lot of waterskins to avoid dehydration.
You can always buy food from the nearby store, but it is recommended to bring the food yourself. Once you reach Pollivneach, then run to the river. There will be around 5 to 6 crocodiles in one area. So you can kill it or can use a crossbow to lure those far away. You can do this as long as you want if you have enough food and waterskins.
