Fletching is one of the easiest skills in Old School Runescape. None of the quests in Old School Runescape that you can get Fletching XP can give you a significant amount of XP. They don’t make much difference.

Leveling Guide

Level 1-25 Headless Arrows

At this level, you can make arrow shafts. To start fast, you may make headless arrows instead. To do this, you have to attach arrow shafts to feathers. Here you need to attach 15 feathers at a time, and you get 15 fletching XP.

You will get approximately 35,000 to 40,000 XP per hour. You need 7,842 arrows to reach level 15. You only need to reach level 25 for this part, and it might take just 15 minutes.

Level 25-35 Stringing Oak Longbows

You make string oak longbows from level 25 to 35. You may cut the logs into unstrung bows, which will give you more AFK. However, that would give you XP slower. You need to do 583 bows to reach level 35.

When you make string oak longbows, you need an oak longbow and a bowstring. You will also get approximately 50,000 to 55,000 XP per hour when doing this. And if you make 583 bows, you will be rewarded with 14,564 XP. You don’t really make money from this method.

Level 35-37 Stringing Willow Longbows

You may move to this from levels 35 to 37. They don’t really make you money, but you only need willow longbows combined with bowstrings to do this, and you also get around 85,000 to 90,000 XP per hour here in which you only need to make 153 bows to reach level 37, and from there you get around 5,067 XP.

Level 37-52 Steel Darts

You make steel darts from levels 37 to 52. You need steel dart tips and feathers to make steel darts. You make ten at a time each time you make steel darts.

You may get approximately 600,000 to 650,000 XP per hour when making steel darts, and you only need to make 12,825 steel darts, and doing so will give you around 96.187 XP.

Level 52-67 Mithril Darts

You make Mithril Darts at around 52 to 67. They give you great XP rates, and they are also cheaper to manufacture than steel darts. You only need mithril dart tips and feathers to make them.

You get approximately 900,000 to 950,000 XP per hour when making mithril darts. You only need to make 37,884 darts through which will give you around 424,293 XP.

Level 67-99 Adamant Darts

From levels 67 up to 99, you make addy darts from addy dart tips and feathers.

They give you 1,000,000 to 1,300,000 XP per hour, but to reach level 99, you need to make 832,432 darts, and this will give you 12,486,478 XP, so making addy darts until you reach level 99 can take some time.

Money Making With Fletching

There are other methods for fletching training that you may do if you are not fond of making darts. Some of these methods even make you a lot of money in the process.

Stringing Bows

You may make stringing bows by cutting logs and stringing unstrung bows. Cutting the bows is more AFK, but stringing bows can make more profit. You may string the following for more profit.

For maple longbows, you need to be at 55 fletching to do this, and it gives you around 130,000 XP per hour and 100k to 110,000 GP per hour.

For Yew longbows, you must be at 70 fletching already, and you will earn 170,000 XP per hour and 230,000 to 250,000 GP per hour.

Lastly, for magic longbows, you need to be at 85 fletching to be able to do this, and you will obtain 200,000 XP and 150,000 GP per hour this way.

Alternative Fletching Methods

Here are some more alternative methods when you do fletching to earn you XP.

Broad Bolts

They are made just like darks, and they cost less. You are required to reach level 55 before you are able to create them, and they also give you around 240,000 to 260,000 XP per hour.

Amethyst Bolts

For Amethyst Bolts, you need 76 fletching, and you will get around 275,00 to 290,000 XP per hour. This is also a cheap method.

Battlestaffs

You need 40 fletching to do this, and you can get around 100,000 to 140,000 XP per hour doing this.
