Why do you need 99 Crafting?

There are several reasons why you would want 99 crafting. One is to unlock the crafting cape, which allows you to teleport to the crafting guild. Other than that you need a high crafting level to complete some quests and diaries. Let’s go through 3 routes to get to level 99.

Balanced Route

Lvl 1-7

You start by crafting leather gloves. For this, you will needle and thread. You will craft leather gloves to level 7 and you need to buy 48 leather. This can be finished in 2 to 3 minutes.

Lvl 7-26

From levels 7 to 26 we will make gold bracelets that will give you 35k XP per hour. For this, you will need a bracelet mold and gold bars. You need to make 324 of them which can be done in 15 minutes and the profit would be 40k GP.

Lvl 26-42

At levels 26 to 42, you will craft drift nets. 

This needs to be done in Fossil Island so you need to finish the bon voyage quest, and have 29 construction. you can make about 300k to 800k GP per hour. You will need to craft 670 drift nets which can be finished in 35 minutes. 

Lvl 42-50

From levels 42 to 50 you can make a ruby bracelet. You will need a bracelet mold, 13 rubies, and 13 gold bars. You will make 700 ruby bracelets which take about 30 minutes.

Lvl 50-58

From levels 50 to 58 you can make ruby amulets. 

You will need amulet mold and 1450 gold bars and rubies and can get about 125k XP per hour. Can be finished within 1 hour and get a profit of 150k GP.

Lvl 58-63

From levels 58 to 63 you will make diamond bracelets. 

You will get 140k experience per hour and can be done in 1 hour.

Lvl 63-99

From levels 63 to 99 you can craft green dragonhide bodies and get about 12.6 million XP. You can about 300k XP per hour and takes 42 hours to get to 99. The cost will be about 30 million GP. So in total, this route will take about 45 hours and cost about 29 million GP.

Cheapest route

Lvl 1-61

Level 1 to 61 is the same as the balanced route. 

Lvl 61-99

The cheapest way to get to 99 is by using the lunar spell glass mate which can give 700k XP per hour. It also gives you a 100k crafting experience and 45k magic. This is good but it is click-intensive. 

You can profit around 85 million GP and get 4.5 million magic experiences. It will take about 120 hours to reach level 99. Depending on your level, your time is better spent doing other more profitable activities instead and going for the more expensive route.

Lvl 63-70

From 63 to 70 make diamond bracelets that can give about 140k crafting XP. From level 70 you can do diamond amulets which will give 145k experience per hour and it only takes 2.5 hours.

Lvl 74-83

From level 74 to 83 you can make the dragon stone bracelet and can give 160k per hour. You need to craft 13300 of them and it takes 9 hours.

Lvl 83-99

From 83 to 99 you can cut amethyst. 

Lvl 83+ Bolt/arrowtips/javelins

You can cut bolt at 83, arrow tips at 85, and javelin head at 87. It will take about 65 hours to reach 99 with a profit of 4 million. In total, this route will take about 83 hours and profit of 5 million

Quickest route

From levels 1 to 20 you can make leather items. You will need 220 of them and cost about 40k GP. This can be finished in 10 minutes.

From levels 20 to 27 you can start cutting gems. You will need 106 uncut sapphires. You can get around 135k XP per hour and only take 3 minutes. 

Next is the emerald which will give you 160k XP per hour and can be finished in 4 minutes. You will need 156 of them. 

Ruby will give 230k per hour and from level 34 to 43 you will need 355 rubies which will cost about 100k. 

From level 43 to 66 start cutting diamonds. This will take about 1.5 hours and cost about 2.7 million and you will get 285k XP per hour. 

From level 66 to 71 you can make air battle staff and get 335k XP per hour. It will cost about 1 million and 1 hour to finish. 

From level 71 to 77 you can make blue d’hide bodies that give 350k XP. Will take around 2 hours and cost 2.5 million. 

From level 77 to 84 you can make red d’hide bodies which give 380k XP per hour. It will cost about 11.3 million and takes about 4 hours. 

From 84 to 99 you need to make black d’hide bodies. This will cost about 106 million. You get 425k XP per hour and 24 hours to reach 99. So in total, you will reach 99 in 33 hours and it costs 123 million GP
