Burning

Cooking is one of the most important skills in this game to survive. There are a lot of items you can cook, and they can be used to restore health, and one of the best cooking items is the sea creatures. But sometimes we tend to burn the food that we cook. There are some ways to stop burning earlier, and we will learn today when you stop burning food.

Regular Fire

When using regular fire, you will stop burning the angler fish at level 99, the shark at level 99, monkfish at level 92, swordfish at level 86, and lobster at level 74. But when you are using cooking gauntlets, it will be reduced to angler fish at level 98, the shark at level 94, monkfish at level 88. swordfish at level 81 and lobster at level 64. To use the cooking gauntlet, you must have finished the family crest quest and must have 40 mining skills, 40 smithing skills, 40 crafting skills, and 59 magic skills. You also must be able to defeat a level 170 demon.

Cooking Range

When using the cooking range, you will stop burning the angler fish at level 99, the shark at level 99, monkfish at level 90, swordfish at level 86 and lobster at level 74. If you cook at the Hosidius kitchen, it will give you 5% less chance of burning fish. To get there, you can use Kharedst’s Memoirs, which will teleport you right east of the kitchen, teleport to Kourend or use a boat from Port Piscarilius. The requirement to use range here is 100% Hosidius favor.

The burning level using a range in Hosidius

  • Anglerfish – 99 (without gauntlet), 93 (with gauntlet)
  • Shark – 99 (without gauntlet), 89 (with gauntlet)
  • Monkfish – 86 (without gauntlet), 82 (with gauntlet)
  • Swordfish – 82 (without gauntlet), 76 (with gauntlet)
  • Lobster – 70 (without gauntlet), 61 (with gauntlet)

Monkfish, swordfish, and lobster cannot be burned. One way to not burn the fish is by completing Kebos and Kourend Elite Diaries, which will set your burning level at 84. That means you burn angler fish at 88 and shark at 84.
