Osrs Sarachnis PvM Solo Boss Guide

This guide is about how to kill Sarachnis. Sarachnis, a spider boss that can be found in the Forthos Dungeon.

Sarachnis was released on July 4, 2019. Sarachnis is a mid-level boss in which the players that are suited to defeat this boss are players at Combat level 100.

The boss arena for Sarachnis is also capable of multi combat, so you may take on Sarachnis as a group and not just as a solo player. However, you may also defeat this boss solo. This guide will talk about how to defeat Sarachnis as a solo player.

Sarachnis Location (Forthos Dungeon)

To get to the Forthos Dungeon, you have to enter the Forthos Ruin in the Western Hosidius in Zeah.

You may also use the Kharedst’s Memoirs by the Lancalliums(client of kourend quest), Xerics talisman, spirit tree patch which requires level 83 farming, or the skills necklace woodcutting guild teleport which requires 60 WC or 75% of Hosidius favor. You may also use the scroll of redirection Hosidius house teleport tab, which requires 25 Construction. It’s recommended to just use the Xeric’s Talisman.

In the dungeon, there are different kinds of rooms, such as the Spider Den, Sarachnis, Grubby Chest, Temple Library, Altar of the Sun, Catacombs Entrance, Crypt of the Moon, Sacred Bone Burner, and the Scorched Grotto.

To get to Sarachnis without completing tasks in the dungeon, you have to go southeast to the Spider Den then down to Sarachnis. When you open the first door, it will automatically close behind you. You cannot open it anymore without a key. You also need to bring a slashing weapon as spiderwebs block your path, and you need it to destroy these webs.

Level Requirements

Sarachnis can resist ranged and magic attacks. You can use melee, though, to kill Sarachnis. Stat recommendations for Sarachnis depend on your gear.

The minimum requirement is 70 melee stats, but you need at least level 80 melee stats to be sure.

You also need 43 prayer for protect from melee and protect from range prayers. Sarachnis is also vulnerable to crush attacks. You may also use stab and slash instead if you don’t want to use a crush weapon.

Gear

If you want to kill Sarachnis easily, for gear, you would want to go for gear with offensive bonuses. You can negate damage with prayer. You need prayer active at all times to block the ranged and melee attacks of Sarachnis.

You may also use the dwarven helm and the mythic cape. They give you a crush bonus.
Leaf-bladed battleaxe, Kraken tentacle, or an abyssal whip.
Barrows armor.
Karil’s top is also helpful since Serachnis respawns two minions that attack with mage and melee.

Inventory Setup

You need to have a spec weapon in which you might want to use a dragon Warhammer or a bandos godsword. You may also use a Saradomin godsword, crystal halberd, or a dragon halberd.

You also need to bring prayer potions. Also, bring a superset and some high healing food. You may bring super restores with brews to give you an HP boost. Also, bring Hosidius teleport tablets to be able to return quickly and even a dueling ring to restore your stats.

Boss Fight

The room for the boss is multi combat in which anyone can simply join in. For the boss tactics, Sarachnis uses range and melee for its main attacks.

If you are adjacent Sarachnis, Sarachnis will melee you.

If you are further, you will be hit with range. Sarachnis has 400 HP and has a 31 max hit. Sarachnis has three special attacks.

Healing strike is a standard attack of Sarachnis that heals Sarachnis.

The second attack is the sticky web that freezes players for three seconds.

The last attack of Sarachnis is the spawns that have 30 HP and hits players with melee and magic. You should kill the small spiders when they spawn. There is also no limit to the number of spawns that can exist in the arena, so you should not ignore these minions.

You should also turn off auto retaliate, since there will be multiple monsters that attack you.

Loot

Sarachnis drop a variety of seeds, herbs, runes and materials. The monsters in the dungeon can also drop a grubby key that you may use to open the chest in the dungeon, which could give you loot, which is worth around 30,000.
