For range gear, bring a dragon hunter crossbow alongside a dragon fire ward. You may also bring a twisted bow as an alternative. Bring anguish and an archer ring. You may use the suffering instead of the archer ring. Use diamond dragon bolts for your bolts. They are the best.

Inventory

For an inventory, it’s almost the same as the inventory for melee. You just bring a range potion instead of the super combat potion for range gear.

Other Gear Options

You may go for the hasta instead of a lance. You may also use an amulet of fury instead of an amulet of torture. Use an anti-fire shield instead of a dragon fire shield. You may also use a rapier instead of a lance or an hasta. You may also downgrade the amulet of fury into an amulet of glory and use an abyssal dagger instead of the hasta for stab instead. Go for a stab bonus. This is for the melee gear.

For downgrades for the range gear, you may use a dragon crossbow instead of a dragon hunter crossbow. You may also use the armadyl crossbow instead. Use a fury instead of anguish and an anti-dragon shield instead. Use glory instead of a rune crossbow. Use diamond bolts instead of dragon diamond bolts. You may use ruby bolts instead, too. This gear is also a lot less expensive.

Trover Parchment

You may use this item on the things that you are afraid to lose, such as untradable. You save these items this way. The items will be imbued, and you would not lose them if you die.

KBD Location

You may use the burning amulet teleport or the Ghorrock teleport. You just have to walk for a little bit more after you teleport.

Then you may box monsters when they hit you. Then you just stay in combat and kill them. You may bring a looting bag too to bring more items when you go back to the bank. However, there might be people here who attempt to steal your items.

Killing KBD

You should find a world that is not occupied by another player. Then you drink your anti-fire. Then pray melee.

Stand within melee distance. This way, you would not be damaged when the King Black Dragon attempts to hit you with melee. Then you just go ahead and kill the King Black Dragon. Do not pray mage as it would not do anything. This way, you can just easily kill the King Black Dragon. Then teleport back to your home.
