Killerwatts are probably the most annoying Slayer task. Everyone dislikes doing this task, and there are very few other Slayer tasks that are more disliked. Most players’ issue with Killerwatts is their attack speed and accuracy. Killerwatts have low combat, but their accuracy and attack speed makes them challenging to kill. Players usually do this task because they help with ironman as they have a nature rune drop.

Killerwatts Location

If you get the Slayer task to kill Killerwats, you will need to get to Draynor Manor.

• To get to Draynor Manor, you can teleport to Falador or Lumbridge and walk to the location.
• You can also use an amulet of glory and teleport to Draynor Village.

There are other ways to get here, but these are the most common means of travel.

Once inside the Draynor Manor, you need to get up one level by taking the stairs. Immediately, you will see a spiraling staircase. Climb up another level which is the top floor. Once upstairs, walk inside the room that has a portal. Once you take to the portal, you will be teleported to the location where Killerwatts are.

Inventory/Gear Setup

• Insulated Boots. These will prevent you from damaging by walking on the clouds where the Killerwatts are located.
• Some food. You should bring some food to manage your hit points and not a bank. You will not take all that much damage if you have insulated boots.

• Full melee gear. If you have the insulated boots, melee gear is all that you need to complete the task in one go without having to bank.

How to Kill Killerwatts

You can force Killerwatts to use only melee on you. They are not aggressive; you will have to initiate the attack without damaging them. So to do this, simply click on a Killerwatt, and walk away before your character has had a chance of attacking it.

Then let the Killerwatt approach you.

Do this one Killerwatt at a time. This will cause them to become aggressive to you but will use only melee. Normally, they also have a ranged attack, but it prevents them from using it. This method allows you to complete the task without using any prayer points or potions.

Another method is to prayer flick while fighting them. You will need to have gear that has good prayer bonus or Monk robes. You have to use Protect from Melee in between your attacks. If you are not certain how prayer flicking works, make sure to check on a guide that goes into details.
