Fishing Infernal eels can be very profitable. Many players farm infernal eels because it has a consistent GP per hour yield and it can be done while AFK. You will farm Tokkul, lava scale shards, and with Tokkul you can buy Onyx bolt tips that you can sell for GP.

Fishing for Infernal Eels can be done in Mor Ul Rek.

The fastest way to get to the location is to use the fairy ring code BLP. Once you get to Mor Ul Rek, you will notice that there are multiple fishing spots that you can use. The best spot is located to the east. In this area, the fishing spots move less often.

How to Catch Infernal Eels

Infernal eels can only be caught with an oily fishing rod. You will need the hammer to open them and turn them into Tokkul. While it is not necessary, it is recommended to bring along the Angler‘s outfit. It will increase your XP while fishing. Remember to wear your ice gloves while catching the eel.

The ideal fishing location is mentioned above. You can catch them while being almost completely AFK. You should stay in this area until your inventory is full. Once your inventory is full, you will need to use your hammer to crack them open. You will get a Tokkul almost every single time you open one. You also have a 1 in 16 chance to get Onyx bolt tips and a 1 in 12 chance to get a Lava scale shard. You will collect a large number of Tokkul. These are used as currency to buy items from the nearby shops which in turn can be monetized and turned into profit. On average, you can expect to make around 150.000 GP per hour or more depending on the going rate for Onyx bolt tips.
