Gauntlets in this game are used for a certain task or to increase and decrease certain skills. Gauntlets come under the armor and gloves categories. Today we will learn how to get cooking, chaos, and goldsmith gauntlets.

Chaos Gauntlets

Chaos gauntlets can be obtained in the Jolly Bar Inn upstairs location. Jolly Bar Inn is located in the northeast part of Varrock. These gauntlets will increase the bolt spell by 3 so, your firebolt has a maximum hit of 15. To exchange chaos gauntlets, you need to have either steel gauntlets, goldsmith or cooking gauntlets, and 25,000 GP.

Go to Jolly Bar Inn and meet Johnathon. After a brief conversation, you will get your chaos gauntlets.

Cooking Gauntlets

To get these gauntlets you need to go Camelot and then run to the north of the Catherby bank to meet Caleb. To exchange cooking gauntlets, you need to have steel gauntlets, goldsmith or chaos gauntlets, and 25,000 GP. After a brief talking with Caleb, you will receive your cooking gauntlet. This gauntlet will decrease the cooking requirement to stop burning fish. With cooking gauntlets you

  • stop burning lobster without gauntlet (74), with gauntlets (68)
  • stop burning swordfish without gauntlet (86), with gauntlet (81)
  • stop burning monkfish without gauntlet (92), with the gauntlet on fire (90), with the gauntlet on a range (88)
  • Cannot stop burning sharks without gauntlet, with gauntlet (94)

Goldsmith Gauntlets

To get this gauntlet, you need to use the ring of dueling and teleport to the duel arena. Then run to the Al Kharid mine and the entrance of the scorpion mine. Here you will meet Avan.

After a brief talk, you can get your goldsmith gauntlets. To exchange this, you need chaos, steel, or cooking gauntlets, and 25,000 GP. These gauntlets will increase your smithing experience by smelting gold ores into a bar by 250%. So now instead of getting 22.5 XP without gauntlets, now you will get 56.2 XP with the gauntlets.
