OSRS Ensouled Heads Prayer Training Guide

Farming Ensouled heads can be lucrative from many aspects. The method is simple as long as you meet the requirements. You get reasonable combat XP per hour, while also training Prayer and Magic in a safe manner.

Requirements:

  • 60% Arceuus favor(to use the Arceuus spellbook)
  • Level 16+ magic to cast Basic Reanimation
  • Optional: Rune pouch. You need body runes, nature runes, soul runes and blood runes for using the animation spells, depending on if you use Basic, adept or expert reanimation spell. I use a Dramen staff for the fairy ring and rune pouch with teleport to house runes.
  • Your best gear
  • Some food to manage your HP
  • Ensouled heads

Location

There are several monsters you can farm for ensouled heads. Goblins are the lowest level monster you can kill to get an ensouled head. They have a 1 in 4 chance of dropping one. The best place to farm them is Lumbridge since plenty of them can farm. You can also farm imps, bears, dogs, ogres, and other monsters for ensouled heads. When doing slayer you get them over time.

The location where you will kill the resurrected ensouled heads is the Dark Altar in Arceuus. You have several options to get there. You can use the Fairy rings code CIS, the Games necklace, or any other means of transportation.

How to Farm Ensouled Heads for Prayer and Magic XP

First, change to the Arceuus spellbook. You will need it to use the different Reanimation spells. Assuming that you farmed some ensouled heads, you will need to travel to the Dark Altar. You will start resurrecting them using the appropriate Reanimation spell if you are equipped with the runes and your gear.

The monster resurrected is the same as the one from which you got the ensouled head. Each time you cast Basic Reanimation, you get 32 Magic XP. Killing the ensouled monster you brought back to life with the Reanimation spells will award anywhere between 130 and 1560 Prayer EXP depending on which monster you reanimated.

One thing to keep in mind is that reanimated ensouled heads do not drop anything. Also, each reanimated monster has 35 hit points and the same stats as the original monster. You can farm these for the Magic and Prayer XP you can get using a simple and safe method.
