If you’re playing OSRS, one of the better items you should consider getting is the Boots of Lightness. Considered a members-only object, the boots of lightness reduce your overall weight by 4.5 kilos. They are a free item and can be acquired multiple times, ensuring they are always available even if you die. The only downside is that they’re not tradeable, so you’ll have to go through this method if you want to get them.
Required Items
- Skills Necklace
- Lit Candle
- Knife
Now that you know what to bring, let’s go over how you’ll get them.
Step #1. Head to the Fishing Guild
First, head to the Fishing Guild. To do that, you’ll want to either use the Skills Necklace or use the Camelot or Ardounge Teleport. Since the Skills Necklace is the most accessible of the three, I’d suggest using that.
Once there, you’ll descend the ladder in the room before heading west to the bottom lair.
Step #2. Enter the Lair
Once you’ve entered the small lair, you’ll want to have your Lit Candle active so that you will be able to see. You can also use any other accessible light source if you have one.
From there, head to the end of the room where you’ll see a small area to your left that is blocked by cobwebs. Go towards it and use your Knife to cut it open.
After cutting open the space, you’ll see the Boots of Lightness freely available to pick up.
Step #3. Getting Multiple Pairs
If you want to get an additional pair of boots, wait 52 seconds for them to respawn. You can switch to another server instead of waiting.
