OSRS Bloodveld Slayer Task Guide

Bloodvelds are amongst the easiest Slayer Monsters to kill because they are all weak against all types of attack, and their attack style is magic based on melee.

As long as you get a high magic defense armor on, you will have no problem killing them.

Bloodveld Locations

Although there are a few locations to find and kill Bloodvelds, the only place where you will be able to use the cannon is the Stronghold Slayer Cave effectively. 

Stronghold Slayer Cave 

The cave is the most popular location for these monsters, and it is found in Tree Gnome Stronghold. You can use a Slayer Ring to teleport there or use one of the many Spirit Trees as well.

Once you enter the cave, you will find the Bloodvelds just east of the entrance. There are four different rooms in which you can kill them; the important thing is that you can find a safe spot.

All you need to do is stand on the passageway, and they won’t be able to attack you. Choose a place close by to drop your cannon, so it’s easily accessible to you when you need to refill cannonballs. 

If you are using melee, make sure that you drink a dose of your superset. 

Morytania Slayer Tower

The easiest way to get here is by using the Slayer Ring to teleport. You can also use the Fairy Ring code CKS, which will take you directly south of the Tower.

When you get to the Slayer Tower, you can find the Bloodvelds in the basement; you can access them climbing down the ladder, but bear in mind that if you are not on a Slayer task, you won’t be able to damage them.

You can also fight them on the first floor in the northwestern room. If you are climbing up the spiked chain, you must use a Nose Peg or a Slayer Helm. Otherwise, you will be attacked by Aberrant Specters, and you won’t be able to fend off their attack. 

If you don’t have 61 Agility, simply use the stairs on the southeastern side of the room. After you climb, then head north to find the Bloodvelds. 

Whichever room you decided to kill them, make sure to choose a good safe spot so they won’t be able to attack you. Make sure you drink your strength and defense potions. 

Catacombs of Kourend 

If you have never been to Zeah before, you will have to complete the Client of Kourend quest beforehand. Once you have done that, speak to Veos on the southeastern of the dock on Port Sarim, and he will take you to Zeah. 

The easiest way to get to the Catacombs is using the Kourend Teleport, casting the spell requires 69 magic. 

In case that you don’t have 69 magic, you can still use the teleport but going to a player-owned house on world 333 and using their Kourend portal that is dark green. 

Another way to get to the Catacombs is by using the Teleportation Scroll that you get from Nightmare Zone on a teleport to House Tablet and redirecting it to the Kourend Teleport. This requires level 25 construction.

Once you get down on the Catacombs, you will have two different locations to fight the Bloodvelds. The first one is just up north, past the Hill Giants. Safe spot them near a passage and simply attack them.

The second location, back at the entrance, head east instead. Going through the Moss Giants, turn south and keep running until you come across the Bloodvelds. Once again, find a safe spot and start attacking them.
