Most Useful Things For Your House In OSRS

A POH is a player-owned house. Your house can add many valuable benefits to OSRS, from a combat dummy to restoration pools. Here are some of the most useful things for your house.

You can move your house to Rellekka

You can move your house to Rellekka, which is beneficial for the early game.

It costs about ten thousand coins to do so, though. Because teleporting can require pretty hard and lengthy quests, you may want to do this instead. Because of having your house in Rellekka, you can have a close teleport to there as well.

Armour stand

At level 55 construction, you can make an Armour stand that will allow you to repair Barrow’s Gear (but it costs money to do so).

Alternatively, you can use the Armour stands in banks in the PvP world. A Pluming stand requires level 16-66 construction (which means you would need crafting). Which allows you to create ‘Heraldic’ gear and make ‘crest’ related items.

Wardrobe & Dressers

You can build a wardrobe in your house, varying construction levels depending upon which wardrobe you want to use. With each upgrade, you can change different clothing styles. A Gilded wardrobe offers the best options for changing your clothes.

The more upgrades for your wardrobe you get, the better items. But, the Varrock store has more options for clothes than any of the wardrobes. Dressers are in the same vein as using a wardrobe, each with a varying construction level. With a dresser, you can change your hair and beard style.

Lecterns

Lecterns allow you to create teleport tablets depending upon which one you make. You can also create other items such as Enchantments and stuff like Bones to Peaches.

This requires a level 40 construction.

Combat Dummy

At level 48 construction, you can start creating a combat dummy. There are two types: level 48 for the regular combat dummy and level 53 for the undead combat dummy.

A combat dummy will always show the max hit damage on the combat dummy for whatever gear you are wearing. The regular combat dummy offers no additional bonuses, but the undead combat dummy acts as a Slayer task and Undead monster.

Mounted Glory

At level 47 construction, you can build a Mounted Amulet of Glory. It is permanent and never runs out of charges. This will allow you to use unlimited teleports, which also help save money and time.

Now you don’t have to buy or recharge amulet of glories anymore.

Costume Room

A costume room allows storage for different items, armour and other things. Anything from Armour sets to Clue Rewards you can store. This requires a level 42 construction.

Menagerie

At level 37 construction, you can build a Menagerie, which is storage for your pets plus feeding.

Depending on the house you have, you can store up to 40 pets!

Jewerly Box

You can replace the need for all jewelry teleportation methods such as ring of dueling, games necklace, amulet of glory, and more with a Jewelry box. One of the most useful things for your house in my opinion. Requires 81+ construction.

Gilded Altar

You can build a Gilded Altar which allows you to light burners. This requires a level 75 construction. If you have 2 burners ignited, bones can give you 3.5 times exp compared when sacrificing them to the altar compared to if you just buried them.

Restoration Pools

A Restoration Pool requires at least a level 65 construction, depending on the pool they restore Special Attack, Run Energy, Prayer, Hitpoints, and Stats. The better pool you have, the more stats it restores, as shown below:

Level 65

Allows you to build a Restoration Pool that restores Special Attack.

Level 70

Allows you to build a Revitalisation Pool that restores Run Energy plus Special Attack.

Level 80

Allows you to build a Rejuvenation Pool that restores Prayer, Run Energy, and Special Attack

Level 85

Allows you to build a Fancy Rejuv Pool that restores Stats, Prayer, Run Energy, and Special Attack

Level 90

Allows you to build an Ornate Rejuvenation Pool, that restores Hitpoints and everything else mentioned above.

Portal Chamber

Allows you to teleport to different locations around the game.

Superior Garden

The superior garden allows you to put a spirit tree and a fairy ring inside your house, which is very useful for transportation around the game.

Cape Hanger

At level 80 construction you can build a Cape Hanger which allows you to put capes on it. What capes you place on the Cape Hanger gives you certain perks. Valuable perks include Crafting Skillscape, Quest Point Cape, Achievement Diary Cape, and Music Cape.
