Abyssal Demon Slayer Guide
Abyssal Demons can primarily be found in two locations, the Catacombs of Kourend and the Morytania Slayer Tower.
You can use a setup that is a prayer based in the Catacombs of Kourend while you will do single combat in the Morytania Slayer so your setup will be more based on melee.
Catacombs of Kourend
Gear
There are many items that you may use and bring as you go along, killing abyssal demons. However, here are some recommended items.
You might want to grab a slayer helmet as well as an amulet of torture(or fury).
You might also want to bring a fire cape and a peaceful blessing.
Also, wear a proselyte hauberk and a proselyte cuisse.
Bring a dragon defender and an arclight, as well as barrows gloves and primordial boots, and lastly, a berserker ring (i).
You no longer need to bring a slayer helmet if you will be doing the abyssal whip grind, instead of doing slayer.
You may instead bring the serpentine helm. The serpentine helm has a venom effect.
The arclight is the best, and you should not replace it with any other item as it can give you a bonus as you kill abyssal demons.
You may also bring an abyssal whip or even a scimitar if you wish to. However, you should maximize your prayer gear. You should also maximize your melee alongside prayer.
Inventory Setup
For the potions, bring some strength potions, prayer potions, and also super attack potions. Also, bring teleports to house and an herb sack. Bring a rune pouch that contains nature runes as well as fire runes. Bring a holy wrench and a gem bag.
Prayers
The prayers that you would want to use are protected for melee and preserve.
Abyssal Demon Location
Catacombs of Kourend
You may use the Kourend teleport to easily get to the Catacombs of Kourend, where you will be slaying demons. You may unlock the spell if you go to the Arceuus health library, and you locate the transportation incantations there.
If you don’t have the teleport, you may simply use the Fairy ring code CIS. To use this, you need to pay 90,000 coins to the NPC marked on the map above. You may also use your Xeric teleport.
There are many different methods to get there. When you get there, you may simply climb down holes, and then you will get to the catacombs. You would want to go north in the catacombs because that is where the abyssal demons can be found.
You just have to run through all the other monsters in the catacombs until you reach north and see the abyssal demons there. You can see them on the greater demons’ west side.
Killing Abyssal Demons
Find an empty world to make your killing in. There are two spots in each world. There is the northern and southern spot. You would want to choose an empty world so that there would be no other player grinding in the area that could slow you down.
When you kill abyssal demons, you would want to turn your quick prayers on. Set them to preserve and melee. Have a dose of your strength and attack potions. Click on each of them so that they attack you. Rinse and repeat.
Abyssal Demons Location
Morytania Slayer Tower
To easily transport to the Morytania Tower, use a slayer ring to teleport all the way there. The faring code CKS can also teleport you nearby, then you just have to run north to get to the Morytania Slayer Tower exactly. There are different options that you can do to get there.
In the Morytania Slayer Tower itself, you may kill the abyssal demons in the basement or on the top floor. In the basement, you can only kill the abyssal demons if you are in a slayer task. So if you are not, your only option is the tower.
However, to get to the abyssal demons on the top floor, you will have to pass through some aberrant specters, which are aggressive. If you kill abyssal demons on the top floor, you should have a slayer helmet with you. This would make you a lot stronger and your stats to not be drained easily.
Basement
In the basement of the Morytania Slayer Tower, go to the northeastern part. There are some aggressive gargoyles here, but you would not get damaged that much.
Drink attack potions, strength potions, and defense potions, and then you should also turn your preserve prayer on. Then just go kill the abyssal demons just like you do to other monsters. You may get damaged, so just eat food to regain health.
Morytania Slayer Tower Setup
Gear
In the Morytania Slayer Tower, the items that you would want to bring a slayer helmet, an amulet of torture, a peaceful blessing, and also a fire cape.
You must also bring a Bandos chestplate, and Bandos tassets, You must also bring an arclight, a dragon defender, alongside primordial boots, as well as berserker ring (i), and barrows gloves.
This setup can be a little bit expensive. You should maximize your defensive and attack bonuses. You can use Torag’s platebody instead of the Bandos chestplate.
The amulet of torture may also be exchanged with an amulet of glory or an amulet of fury instead.
You may also use a different shield instead of the dragon defender.
You may use an abyssal whip or a dragon scimitar instead of the arclight.
However, it is the best option when it comes to killing abyssal demons. You may use an obsidian cape instead of the fire cape.
The slayer helmet is optional. You may use a serpentine helm instead.
You can use dragon boots instead of the primordial boots, and you may use the combat bracelet instead of the barrows gloves.
