OSRS Top 12 Tips For Beginner Ironman

1. Keep Strange fruits and strawberries

When robbing from fruit stalls, keep strange fruits and strawberries. Strange fruits cure poison and restore 30% run energy. Anti-poisons are easy to get, but these are great for budget energy potions until you have the herb lord level to make them.

Strawberries are good if you need a lot of food in your food inventory at once, especially at a low level.

You can fill a basket with up to five strawberries, each healing 1plus 6% of your max hp.

They are like budget sharks or lobsters.

It’s pretty common for iron man to use baskets of strawberries in the fight caves.

2. A dragon battleaxe Spec

A dragon battleaxe special attack is a great way to boost your strength in the early game. It requires 60 attacks and completion of heroes’ quest.

It drains your attack defense range and magic by 10% but increases your strength by 10 plus the number of levels drained divided by 4.

It might sound hard to recommend this since it drains levels, but the strength boost is worth it if you do melee.

You can also recover your train stats while keeping the boost by using a restore potion.

3. Pots and Cheesy Potatoes

You can buy portions and cheesy potatoes in the warrior’s guild.

Cheesy potatoes heal 16 hp, which is great if you don’t have sharks yet. Right next door, you can buy strength attack and defense portions. They are very cheap around 11gp each.

You can also buy the attack and defense potions from the shop.

4. Stand Under Baker

When stealing from the bakery stall in the arty, stay under the baker to not get caught.

5. Pineapple Pizzas

Pineapple pizzas heal 22 hp. If you have 65 cooking, it’s really easy to get these.

You can buy plain pizzas from the warrior’s guild and pineapples from any charter ships around RuneScape.

I recommend cutting the pineapples into five slices instead of chunks for the pizza because you will get four slices while you would only get one thing of chunks. So, you need fewer pineapples for your pizzas.

6. Long path on White wolf mountain

You can completely avoid monsters on this mountain by taking a long way around.

7. Gnome food

The gnome stronghold has some early game food. Some of the food here heals 10 hp or more. But the one that heals the most is chocolate bombs which heal 15 hp.

8. Bone Crossbow Spec

The dorgeshuun crossbow has a very useful special attack. Equipping the crossbow requires 28 range, and using the Spec requires completion of the dorgeshuun, but this Spec lowers your opponent’s defense by the amount of damage dealt, so it’s like budget Bgs.

9. Kourend Bakery Stall

There are many bakery stalls in the RuneScape, so you don’t have to go to the ardounge for cakes. You can go to Kourend castle. Here you can pretty easily hide from the guards.

10. Auto Equip Runes/Ammo

When you get off the tutorial island, you should first talk to the mage and range tutors.

With the mage tutors, set it so that when you pick runes, they automatically go into your room pouch if you have the same runes in there. And with the Range tutors, set it to auto similarly equip arrows.

11. Rimmingtone Boat to Ardougne

West of Rimmingtone there is a boat to arties, it just costs 30 GP.

12. Karambwanji

While raising a cat to save inventory space, you can feed them karambwanji. These require 5 fishing and have no quest requirements. So getting to the current bonding spot can be kind of dangerous at a low level.

These are stackable so take up one inventory spot. It doesn’t matter what type of fish you feed your cat, so either is perfect.
