A Rune Pouch is one of the most valuable items in OSRS. It can help store Runes when you need them the most, and people often wonder where they can get one. 

How To Get a Rune Pouch

The first way you can get a Rune Pouch is through using the Slayer Masters. You can find a list of Slayer Masters under the Slayer tab. It is a full list of all the Slayer Masters. It does not matter which one you use since they all offer Rune Pouches. When you right-click on the Slayer Master, it will bring up a ‘Slayer Rewards’ menu.

Click on buy, and you’ll see that the Rune Pouch is listed there for about 750 points. You get points by completing tasks, but it will be in your inventory once you buy the Rune Pouch but not fully unlocked. You can lose upon death or other circumstances, so it is not recommended to get it this way unless you have the extra points to do so.

The second way you can get a Rune Pouch is by doing Bounty Hunter. Bounty Hunter is a PvP minigame event. They have their World as well, and it is 319 for the U.S. World and 318 for the U.K. World. To do Bounty Hunter, you need 30 Combat, 20 Quest Points, and you have been playing for at least 48 hours in the game. 

Once you do Bounty Hunter, you’ll get a player you have to kill. These players will drop Emblems. The Emblems come in tiers, to reach a higher tier you’ll need to have the emblem in your inventory. The higher the tier, the higher the points you get. When you die, you lose your Emblem, unless it’s in the bank, but then it won’t upgrade once you get a kill.

  • Tier 1- 50,000 points
  • Tier 2- 100,000 points
  • Tier 3- 200,000 points
  • Tier 4- 400,000 points
  • Tier 5- 750,000 points
  • Tier 6- 1,200,000 points
  • Tier 7- 1,750,000 points
  • Tier 8- 2,500,000 points
  • Tier 9- 3,500,000 points
  • Tier 10- 5,000,000 points

The lowest you’ll want to get is a Tier 6 Emblem, or 1,200,000 points. Once you have the points needed, you can visit the rewards shop for Bounty Hunter, and the Rune Pouch will be there to purchase.
